Agents West and Gordon pursue the disappearance of Lola Barascer's fiance after she reveals a letter in which he claimed he had joined a fanatical army bent on overthrowing the US Army forces in the southwest. When Jim and Artemus investigate, they are caught up in the camp of General Grimm and Jim must fight Grimm to survive.
