Early flint lock rifle cartridge box. The interior has a 24 hole wood block .69 caliber round ball cartridge holder. One of the holes has a .69 round ball still stuck inside it with part of the paper cartridge still attached. The inner implement pouch had a rifle flint inside it when I acquired the box and is included. The linen sling is firmly attached and awesome. The leather box itself is fairly rough with age and use wear and numerous tears in the leather that I have tried to show in the pictures. A few period nails hammered through the leather and into the wood block would be very helpful. Just something you might want to consider if you decide to purchase this early cartridge box. $295
