When Six Flags Fiesta Texas opens their Superman Krypton Coaster it will be the world's tallest and fastest "floorless" rollercoaster in the world. This new B&M floorless track will be 168 feet high and will max out at 70mph. The Superman Kyrpton Coaster will be built mostly above water and will have seven inversions.
After the Krypton Coaster goes down it's 160 foot plunge it will go straight into a 144-foot vertical loop. The six other inversions will be a 96-foot diving loop, a zero G-roll, a 78-foot cobra roll, and two corkscrews. All this is expected to happen in 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
The Superman Kyrpton Coaster will be Six Flags Fiesta Texas's main attraction for 2000. It's going to cost them $20 million to build the ride. They are expecting to have the SKC ready for the early spring of 2000.
