Vallejo, CA- Today Six Flags Marine World announced their plans to build the world's first floorless coaster with back to back loops. Medusa will be 150 feet tall and will reach a maximum speed of 65mph while going through seven inversions. This is the fifth coaster of it's kind and will travel along 4,000 feet of track.
B&M's first floorless coaster, Medusa, debuted in '99 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey. Rollercoaster enthusiasts rated Medusa as one of their top steel coasters of all time.
Medusa at SFMW will be the parks third coaster in three years and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2000
