James (Jr.) was b. 1841 in Dyerstown, Pa. and d. 1910 in Dyerstown, Pa. He lived in Dyerstown and is bur. in Doylestown, Pa. He was a dairy farmer and postmaster (?) of Dyerstown, Pa. P.O.

A2 Margaret MCCLAIN was b. 21 May 1850 in Erwinna, Bucks Co., Pa. She d. 1 Sept. 1922 in Plumsteadville, Pa and she is bur. in Upper Tinicum, Bucks, Pa. Margaret went to the schools of Rock Ridge, Bucks, Pa. She was a member of the Upper Tinicum Evangelical Lutheran Congregational Chruch and was confirmed there on 29 Jun. 1867 by Pastor Theo. Heilig. On 5 Jan. 1871, she m. Sylvester Straus SHIVELY (SCHAIBLE) in Tinicum Twp., Bucks, Pa. Sylvester was the son of Ernest F. SHIVELY and Amanda STRAUS. Sylvester was b. 6 Dec. 1847 in Tinicum Twp., Bucks Co., Pa. and he d. 14 Dec. 1882 at Ottville, Pa. He is bur. in the Upper Tinicum cem., Bucks, Pa. Sylvester was employed at the Ottsville Hotel and was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Tinicum, Pa. He was confirmed there on 7 Oct. 1865 by Pastor C.D. Miller of Lower Tinicum.

Third Generation
A11 Bertha Emma BARCLAY b. 15 Apr. 1881 in Dyerstown, Bucks Co., Pa. and d. 21 May 1933 in Doylestown, Pa. She is bur. in the cemetery at Mechanicsville, Bucks Co., Pa. Bertha attended Dyers Hill Elementary Schools, was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Doylestown, Pa. and was Secretary of the Thimble Club of Doylestown, Pa. On 20 Oct. 1899, she m. Alfred Ely MICHENER at the Presbyterian Church Parsonage in Doylestown, Pa. Alfred was the son of Edmund E. MICHENER (son of Comly, who was son of Abram, who was son of George, who was son of William, who was son of John) and Phoebe Anna ELY. Alfred was b. 3 Aug. 1877 at home in Plumstead Twp., Pa. He resided at Plymouth Meeting in Montgomery County, Dyerstown, Solebury, Doylestown all in Bucks Co., Pa. Alfred was a dairy farmer and was a memberof the Friends Society.
Children of Bertha and Alfred are: Harry Roland (A111), Anna Myrl (A112), and Carroll (A113).

Chapt. #292, ladies auxiliary, Redman of America and the Pocahontas Lodge all of Doylestown, Pa. On 14 Mar. 1894, she m. Addison Bryan MYERS in Dublin, Pa.
Addison was the son of Isaac Kratz MYERS and Amanda BRYAN. Addison was b. 26 Aug. 1875 in Deep Run, Pa. and he d. 26 Apr. 1925 in Plumsteadville, Pa. He is bur. in Doylestown, Pa. He resided in Plumsteadville, Philadelphia, Doylestown, Bedminster, Plumstead, all of Pa. He was a coach painter, proprietor of the "Clear Spring Paint Shop" of Bedminster, Plumsteadville and Doylestown, Pa. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Doylestonw, Pa., the Doylestown Lodge #245 F.&A.M. of Doylestown, Pa., the B.P.O. of Elks Lodge #970 at Bristol, Pa. and the I.O.O. Foresters of Plumsteadville, Pa. He attended the schools of Deep Run, Pa.

A111 Harry Roland MICHENER was b. 7 Apr. 1901 at Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery Co., Pa. He d. 23 Sept. 1938 in Philadelphia, Pa. He is buried in Mechanicsville, Bucks Co., Pa. He was employed by the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Co. He m. Florence LEAR who was b. 8 May 1901.
Their children were: Doris Gene (A1111), Harry Roland Jr. (A1112), Marian Lois (A1113), Shirley Anne (A1114), and Ellenor Lorraine (A1115).
A112 Anna Myrl MICHENER was b. 13 Mar. 1903 at Plymouth Meeting, Pa. She attended grade schools at Dyers Hill, Pa., Doylestown Pa. High School, graduating in June 1922. She then went to Westchester Normal School at Chester, Pa. She was a school teacher and was Secretary of the Buckingham Twp. School Board. She was a member of the P.T.A. at Buckingham and Warwick Twp. And a member of the Buckingham Woman's Club and the Forestville Presbyterian Church.
On 29 Dec. 1927, she m. Addis Comly WORTHINGTON at the First Presbyterian Church Parsonage in Jeubintown, Pa. Addis b. 26 Nov. 1898 at Dark Hollow Rd., Rushland, Pa. He resided on Dark Hollow Rd. in Rushland, and Wrightstown Twp., Bucks Co., Pa. He was a dairy farmer. He entered the U.S. Army Motor Transport Corp. on 11 Nov. 1918 and was released from Camp Wheeling, Macon, GA on 23 Nov. 1918. He attended Buckingham Twp. Schools and graduated from high school in June 1918. He was a Trustee of Forestville Presbyterian Church, Forest Grove, Pa. and a charter member of the Pennsylvania Farmer's Association, Int'l Order of Odd Fellows at Jamison, Pa.
Their children were: William Addis (A1121) and Nancy Jane (A1122).
A113 Carroll MICHENER was b. 12 Jan. 1909 at Danboro, Bucks Co., Pa. (or Plumstead Twp.). He lived at Spring Rd. in Doylestown, Pa. RD #2. On 10 Jun. 1933, he m. Jean FOSTER, dau. of Harry M. FOSTER and Agnes KEPPLER. Jean was b. 20 Jan. 1913 in Buckingham Twp., Bucks Co., Pa.

She taught at the Selperk High School in Bucks Co., Pa. She is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Forest Grove, Pa. and the Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity and the Penn. State College Alumni.
On Sat. 17 Oct. 1953, at 2:00 P.M., she m. William H. YERKES III at Deep Run Doylestown Presbyterian Church by Rev. Myer H. Hostetter. William lived on Star Route, Doylestown, Pa. He was associated with his father in farming the Lone (sp.?) Such Farm in Buckingham, Pa. He graduated from Buckingham High School and the Pennsylvania State College, School of Agriculture. He was president of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity.

Alfred was b. 11 Apr. 1892 in Raubsville, Northhampton Co., Pa. He attended Raubsville grade schools and Churchman's Business College in Easton, Pa. He and Edna were members of the St. Mark's Reformed Church. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the R.R. Brotherhood of Locomotive Fireman and Engineman Local # 288?. He resided on Court St., 140 South 17th St., Doylestown, Pa. and 1459 Lehigh St. in Easton, Pa. He was a locomotive engineer for the Lehigh Valley R.R. since 13 Sept. 1917.

A2312 James Alfred GRUBE b. 29 Sept. 1919 in Easton, Pa. He graduated from Easton, Pa. High School and he held a membership in the V.F.W., Order of Eagles, Trainman Brotherhood and St. Mark's Reformed Church of Easton, Pa. He resided at 1440 Lehigh St. in Easton, Pa. He was employed as a trainman for the Lehigh Valley R.R. since 1941. In 1945, he m. Charlott SINGFRIED in the Lutheran Church of Easton, Pa.
