First Generation
A Hans BRICKER* was born c. 1650-1660 in Frutigen, Switzerland. He m. Anna ??? c. 1670 in Switzerland. He was a Mennonite and in 1685 he left Switzerland for Germany because of religious persecution. Hans died c. 1706 in Zweibruecken, Pfaltz, Germany.
He had at least one son, Jacob* (A1).
Second Generation
A1 Jacob BRICKER * § was born in 1685 in Switzerland. In 1718 he immigrated to Philadelphia. He was a Mennonite. Jacob died after 1735 in Warwick Twp., PA.
Before 1700, he first married an unknown woman and they had one son, Peter* (A11). His second marriage was to Catherine MYLIN in 1719 in Warwick, PA and they had at least two sons, Jacob (A12) and Peter (A13).
Third Generation
A11 Peter BRICKER * § was born 1700 in Zweibruecken, Pfaltz, Germany. He married Elizabeth ???* and he died c. 1761 in West Cocalico, Lancaster County, PA. Elizabeth was born c. 1702 in W. Cocalico. Their children include: Catherine* (A111), David (A112) and Elizabeth (A113).
A12 Jacob Mylin BRICKER was born c. 1720 in Lancaster Co., PA.
A13 Peter Mylin BRICKER was born c. 1735 in W. Cocalico, PA and m. Mary BEAR.
Fourth Generation
A111 Catherine BRICKER* b. 1743 in Warwick, PA. Also Rebecca Catherine? She m. Christian EBY* (see EBY A11151) c. 1760 in Lancaster City, PA. She d. 16 Mar. 1810 in Lancaster County, PA.
Their children included: Elizabeth*, John, Anna and Benjamin.
A112 David BRICKER was b. 3 Feb. 1755 at Huntington Twp., Huntington County, PA. On 28 Nov. 1780, he m. Magdalena Shantz ERB in Newville, Cumberland County, PA. David died on 8 Apr. 1833 in West Penssborough, Cumberland Co., PA.
A113 Elizabeth BRICKER b. 1 Jun. 1759 and d. 4 Dec. 1813 in Sporting Hill, Cumberland County, PA. She is buried on the family plot there. On 24 Nov. 1776, she m. John EBERLY.
