Today, we call it
It didn't begin on any particular day. Not even a particular time, place or with a person. It just happened. By fate? Maybe. By chance? Perhaps.
By virtue of a vision?
Whatever the unifying forces may have been, on November 1, 1993, Chi Sigma Upsilon was conceived by a group of women in search of a sisterhood. In discussing the issues that their respective searches brought about, it was evident that these individuals possessed the power to come together with their various views intact and create a force that would be just what they had been looking for. One not only based on common goals and principles but significant purposes and a philosophy. A philosophy that would aid them in their initiative to forever change the inaccurate notions of womanhood and promote those that served as a better DEFINITION of what it means to be a Woman.
