Journey and Savvie were surprised to see each other. "I came here to visit mom, dad, Daphne and my new sister Journey." Savvie said while hugging Journey. Journey returned the favor. Journey didn't want to take off the backpack but she did anyway and kept it in her room. "It's so glad to see you." Journey said. She had a smile on her face. "Me too. Gee your short for a nineteen year old." Savvie said. "It's a long story. I'm five foot even." Journey said.
Savvie, Daphne and Journey stayed at Daphne's. "So how are things going?" Savvie asked Daphne. "Just great but not like today." Daphne said. "Why's that?" Savvie asked. She turned to Journey, who was out of her black clothes and in her pajamas. "Fred got me fired because of something." "Something like what?" "Well I think he thinks that I think of myself and stuff. Like that's the other way around." All were in their pajamas. "What's with the black clothes Journey? When you left Fred's place, you were wearing baggy pants, a long short sleeve shirt and sneakers. And you had your hair back." Daphne said. "Change of pace I guess. Besides I was in the mood for black." Journey said. 'I can't tell them why I've been turned into an evil witch/vampire. I can't tell them about the clothes, the book and the amulet.' Journey thought to herself.
"How's your singing coming along?" Savvie asked. "Great. Access is writing a few new songs." Journey said. "Who's Access?" Savvie asked. "Journey's boyfriend." Daphne answered back to Savvie. "Oh." Savvie said. "Let's say we should get some shut eye and talk in the morning." Daphne said. "I have to practice for my concert tomorrow evening." Journey said. 'And that's when the spell becomes effective.' Journey thought. So everyone went to their rooms. There was a spare just in case someone does arrive. So all went to sleep.
The next day, all three girls got up. Journey was the latest to rise because she was extremely tired. All woke up from their deep sleep by the sunlight that was beaming down on them. "I can't believe it's morning." Daphne said. "I agree." Savvie said. They looked around the kitchen. "Where's Journey?" Savvie asked. "She's a late sound sleeper. After what happened yesterday I think she needed more rest." Daphne explained in a soft tone.
At the secluded place, the warlock watched Journey as she got up. "The spell worked. She's now a full witch/vampire… Sooner or later my dear, you will become one of us." He said.
Journey woke up at nine in the morning. "I need to get ready for practice." Journey rushed out of bed, not thinking what's going on she touched the wrong part of the window. She wore her tight pants and tight long sleeve shirt that covered every part of her body. Just then there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Journey said.
It was a cowboy figure. "Howdy partner!" Madison said. "Hey Madison." "So ready for ya concert?" He asked. "Ready as I'll ever be." Journey said. The amulet and the book were out of his view. "The girls told me to tell you that breakfast is ready." "I'll be down in a second I'm getting dressed for the concert." Journey said. "See ya." Madison left. 'Thank goodness that Madison never saw that book or the amulet. I have it somewhere in my backpack.' Journey thought. She checked the backpack. "Thank goodness that they're there." So she picked up her backpack and left her bedroom to take care of business.
"You ready for your concert?" Savvie asked when Journey showed up at the kitchen. "I'm ready to go practice for this afternoon." "Afternoon." "Right we need to practice now." So everyone got dressed including Savvie.
At concert practice, everyone was singing and dancing. The choreographer showed up. "Okay everyone lets get into gear." He said. So everyone danced and practiced. Then Journey and Savvie did a guitar/fiddle duet. It sounded good. It was a little sad. Everyone started to cry. Then they were interrupted by a special report. It was about a car crash. Was it about the wrong part of the window that Journey touch that caused the accident? Journey was right. She caused an accident. But she didn't want anyone to know that.
Half of Coolsville was there at her concert. Everyone had a great time and the duet that Savvie and Journey did. Of course, Daphne did sing. She sounded great. Everyone joined in. It sounded like that the audience knew the words.
"Where's your boyfriend Access?" Savvie asked Journey. "At home, he's got kinda dizzy from yesterday's practice. He should have been here." Journey said. "I can't wait to meet him." Madison said. "You'll like him. He's grew up on a ranch. Like you." Journey said. "He's very nice and Mr. Serious." Daphne said. "How do you know him?" "Through Journey. Then I got introduced to him went we vacations with our cousins." Daphne said.
Once the concert was over, everyone went to celebrate for the Blake sister's success.
That night, Journey went back to that private place once she turned into the witch/vampire. With the amulet showing and the book with her secure in her backpack she was ready go to her "master." "I think that I caused the accident." Journey said. "You did my dearie, you did." "I did after all." Journey said. "I want you to be introduced to everyone else." "Everyone else huh?" Journey said. The warlock took her to the meeting room right under a cave of some sort.
"Where's Journey?" Daphne said. "I don't know but we better look for her. Or else she might be in deep trouble." Savvie said. "Let's go page the others."
At the cave, the evil Journey got introduced to everyone. "This is our new witch/vampire Journey." The Warlock said. "Please to meet you. Meeting you people is to die for." Journey said. They laughed an evil laugh. "These are your new friends. Isaaic the head vampire, Time my son, moon the head witch, and Rapper the warlock/vampire." They all hissed at Journey. "I guess your new friends don't like me." "They hissed at you." "What does that mean?" "They like you." Journey hissed too.
"Welcome to our lair. Have you mastered your spell book?" Moon asked. "No I haven't. Too many mortals." Journey said. Then Moon saw the amulet around her neck. "He gave you the amulet. You are in complete control of yourself and your spells provided. You should know by now. All witches should know. It's all in your blood." "In my blood huh? Let me try a spell. Can I?" Journey asked. "Sure. Scare us if you dare."
Journey had to be careful of what spell that she should use. She had the amulet wide open so the counsel will see. Journey read the spell she was going to use. She memorized it in her head fast. She closed her eyes and say these words "Power of rain, magic of sky, a part of you has good, part of us is bad, use the evil within. Sunny skies, acid rain, there's no spice to make a girl nice so make me evil outside of me as well as with in." Then something came in. Everyone looked at her. "That's the only spell that a head witch would use." Issaic said.
The spell made her more evil outside and inside. "That's what I call a leader." Moon said. Everyone agreed. "Journey." "Yesssss." She responded evilly. "We need a leader like you." The warlock said. "What can I do, I'm just a teenager that had experience with this kinda magic for two days." "But we need your guidance." Rapper said. "Well…" Journey thought.
Back at the estate…"You mean my girlfriends missing?" Access said. "We don't know where she went. This happened for two days. It's close to morning, let's get some sleep." Everyone said. "She might go somewhere private for the night." All went outside to look for her.
Journey left the counsel. Still with her black outfit on and the amulet in view, she walked the sidewalk. While doing that, she tucked the amulet deep in her shirt and the spell book in her backpack. She turned the book at the apartment.
She read chapter 102 in THE STARS IN THE SKY. "Not only your a witch, your are a dangerous threat not only to mortals but you are a more dangerous threat to yourself. Hummm…." Journey read in a low voice. She was still a witch/vampire.
Everyone split up to find Journey. "Where could she be?" Access said. "Like lets' try her apartment. She's always home." Shaggy said. "Reah rapartment." Scooby said. So everyone walked to Journey's apartment.
Once there, They looked through a keyhole. They couldn't believe what they saw. "Zoinks! A witch!" "Not only a witch, a vampire… and she's in Journey's apartment." Access said. Then they couldn't believe what they saw. They saw Journey transform. "Oh my gosh…."
