Journey was at home visiting Daphne. Both decided to go on a drive. "So how have you been?" Daphne asked. "I've been okay, I've been working, eating, sleeping, playing Guitar…. I like your new car." Journey said. "Thanks." Daphne said. She had her eyes focused on the road while talking to Journey. "You wanna go see Fred and Scooby?" Daphne asked. "Sure. I haven't seen him a long time. Plus I need to talk to him." "'Bout what?" Daphne asked her in concern. "I just need to talk to him in private." "I was wondering why you don't show up to work anymore." Journey felt silent.
Fred fired Journey from Coast-to-Coast. She's never been fired before. She's mad at Fred and never spoke to the crew people except Daphne. "I thought you knew already." "Know what?" "Your executive just got me fired from Coast-to-Coast. That's why I'm not showing up." Journey said. "You seem so sad and everything. Where do you work now?" Daphne asked. Journey just sighs. "I'm working at my old job again." "Why?" "I just like the job and the people like me." "Why did Fred fire you?" "I don't know you ask him." Journey said. She had her arms folded. "A best friend never fires a best friend." Daphne said. "I thought he was my best buddy… but I guess not. So I don't' work there anymore!" Journey said.
"You are important to me because you're my sister and stuff." Daphne said. They parked at Fred's place. Both sisters came out of the car and went to Fred's door. Journey pounded on the door. "Who is it?" "Your mad best friend and her sister." Journey said. "Rouney's rhere!" Scooby said in a cheerful mood. "Come in." Fred said from the inside. Both of them went inside the house.
Fred's house was neat as a pin. Not a speck of dust in sight. There was a medium sized television, a big stereo, a huge black couch and a dining room next door. "Hey Fred." Daphne said. Journey just ran to the living room without saying hello to Fred. Obviously, she was still mad at him.
The gang was there too. "Heya gang." Journey said. "Heya Journey. How's the new job?" Shaggy said. "Great." Journey said. "So why are you here?" Shaggy asked. "I came here to visit you guys." Journey said while sitting between Velma and Shaggy. Scooby was lying on the floor. She placed an arm around Shaggy and one on Velma. "How's everyone?" Journey asked. "Great." Velma said. "And you Shaggy?" She asked. "Like the usual. Eating and more eating." Everyone laughed. "What about you singer girl?" Velma asked while turning to Journey. Now she had her arms at her sides. "Fred fired me." Journey said.
"So that's what Fred and Daphne are talking about." Velma said. All were looking at them. Fred and Daph were arguing. "Why was my sister fired?" Daphne asked. "Yeah I want to know." Velma said. All agreed. "We think that Journey's full of herself and thinks she's all that, and we think that she's very mean." Fred said. Without one word, Journey stormed out of the door, mad and upset. "Now look what you just did." Daph said.
"Do go after her." Velma said. "She needs time alone from what just happened." Daphne said. She had a scowl look on her face when she turned to Fred. "I can't believe you just did that to your friend, your best friend. You mean everything to her." Shaggy said.
Journey looked down on the street while she was walking. She was crying. Until she crashes into a man. He looked like he was a warlock in disguise. "Sorry 'bout that." Journey said. "That's okay." The man said while getting up. Then Journey saw a book on the ground. Journey picked it up. It was a very old, purple book. "What's this: 'The stars in the sky'?" The man covered her mouth. "No too loud." He said. He let go of her mouth. "Don't do that!" Journey snapped. "Let's go to a secluded place." He said. "Where? I didn't drive here." Journey said. "Come to me and we'll take a more scenic route." The disguised warlock said. Journey felt uneasy. "Trust me." He said. "Okay then." Journey said while walking to him. "That's right. Let's get out of here before anyone notices." He said. With the clouds of dark smoke, both Journey and the warlock disappeared.
Back at Fred's house all sat down in the living room. "We haven't gotten a case in two months. Everything here seems to be dull around here." Velma said. "Except me." Shaggy said. "Re roo." Scooby said. "Why's that?" Daphne asked. "Scoob and I are going to see our parents at their place not far from here. "Reah ree ry rarents." Scooby said. "I don't' know what to do." Fred said. "Me either." Velma said, "All I want to do is sleep." Shaggy said while getting up. "Reah." Scooby said doing the same.
"Where are you two going?" Daphne asked. "Home." Shaggy said. "Rome." Scooby said. "That's the best idea yet." Velma said. "What?" Fred said. "Let's all go home." "I think Journey's back at the estate." Daphne said while getting up and grabbing her car keys. "Where you going?" "To see my parents to see if Journey's there." Daphne said. "Why?" "If she gets mad, that's the first place she goes to. Other wise, I would be worried about her." Daph said.
While Shagg and Scooby walked home, they saw something. "I think that's Journey's voice." "Rope." Scooby said. "Then who that?" Shaggy said acting scared. "It's a warlock." So Scooby and Shaggy went the other way to their apartment.
At a secluded place, the warlock and Journey sat down. The warlock tied Journey up. "What are you doing to me?" Journey asked. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing." The warlock said. "What's that book on?" "Oh Spells and stuff." "May I please have a map to that sentence? I didn't get it." "This book you picked up on the street has spells that I'm going to use on you." "Why me?" "Look at it this way, we need you." Everything felt silent. "But why did you tie me up." "Some spells that I'm using on you has best results if the person tied up." 'What kind of spells is he going to use on me?' Journey wondered. 'Oh well, I minus well deal with what's going on right now.' She thought while the warlock placed something on her.
"I never knew that a book with a nice titles has spells in them." Journey said. She looked down on her chest. "What's this?" Journey said while picking it up with her hand. "Part of the spell, you keep this." It was a amulet with a cross and a big diamond in the middle. "With this you're in complete control." He said. "Oh." The warlock tightened the ropes and stepped back and opened his book.
'Why would a nice warlock do something with a nice girl like me?' Journey thought. 'He means well.' Journey was calm and cool. The warlock started with his spells. "Stars in the sky, man on the moon, make her the most powerful girl in the world. Friendliness, power and no love, make her one of us from above." He said. Then a lightning landed on Journey. She was still calm thought everything.
Journey's eyes turned red, her hair turned into blonde, her clothes were different. Now wearing black skirt, black short shirt. In other words, Journey's turned into a different girl. The lightening thing went for five minutes. Once it was over the warlock screamed "Success." Journey was successfully turned into a witch and vampire. Still with the amulet around her neck, Journey was set free.
"Remember, you are you normal self for twelve hours of the day. But when nightfall's like right now, you are a witch/vampire. Everything you touch, something dangerous happens. Nothing happens tonight. And you won't be turned into a witch tonight. So be careful what you say and do." He said. "Yes sir." Journey left to sneak inside the Blake estate. She was her normal self but her black outfit was the same as her evil side. She had the amulet tucked inside her shirt. "No one's going to know until it's too late.
During the night at the estate, Daphne went to door. "Hello, is my mother and father home?" "They're home Miss Daphne. Come with me." Daphne went with one of the servants. "Is my sister here?" "Miss Journey isn't here Miss Daphne." The servant said. She looked around the house. Could of Journey sneak into the mansion? Daphne went to Journey's old room.
Daphne knocked on the door. "Journey, are you there?" She asked. Journey went inside her room quietly and lay on her bed with her backside on the bed and her head on her pillow. "I'm coming in." Daphne said while opening the door. "There you are." "I've been here." "But the servants said you weren't here." "I said I've been here." Daphne was confused. 'The servants said that Journey wasn't here so why is she in her room?' Daphne thought to herself. "Look, if you want the truth, I snuck in here okay." Journey said. "Okay then. The rest of the family is here if you want to see them." "I'll be down in a second." Daphne left the room with the door left just a sliver shut.
Once Journey was left all alone, she grabbed the amulet out of her shirt. "I wonder what this suppose to do." She said quietly to herself. Then something in the air showed up. "Use this book on any spell you want." The voice said. She grabbed the book and hid it into her backpack, tucked the amulet under her shirt, grabbed her backpack on her back and left her bedroom to see her family.
"Here comes Miss Blake now." One of the servants said while Journey was walking down the stairs. "Hey everyone." Journey said with a smile on her face. She was being careful what to touch and not to touch. "Hello Journey." A girl said. "Who's there?" Journey asked. She looked around. "If wasn't mom or Daphne, then who is it?" Journey asked. "It's your other sister." She said while walking out of the shadows. "Journey this is your other sister Savannah." Her father said. "Hi, the names Journey." Journey introduced herself. "I've seen you before right? You're my younger sister." Savvie said.
