New Life School of Theology

 

Dr. E. W. Kenyon was born April 24, 1867 in Hadley Hills, New York. Brother Kenyon went on home to be with the Lord on March 19, 1948. After giving his life to the Lord Jesus as a young man he became a pastor, evangelist, and a teacher of the gospel. Brother Kenyon was very active in training students for missions and helping in starting up new churches in the New England area. Dr. Kenyon discovered a Bible study method that is so insightful many use it today. Brother Kenyon would not accept man's word if the Word of God didn't back them up. Dr. Kenyon loved to study, all he needed was the Bible, some books written by godly men, and the Holy Sprit to teach him. Dr. Kenyon knew the needs of Christians to be grounded in the Word of God and had a desire to train people to harvest the lost soul. He started Bethel Bible Institute in 1912. At Bethel they searched the Bible for a deeper understanding of the truths of redemption. It was a place to learn and put the Word of God to practice in their own lives. In Brother Kenyon's later years after moving to the West Coast he started Seattle Bible Institute. Dr. Kenyon's writings have blessed so many people up through the years. All his books and Bible Studies have influenced so many to study the Bible and put it to practice in their lives. Because they did this, their walk with God grew stronger and stronger. Here at NEW LIFE SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY we want to help students get a good foundation of God's Word and put it to work in their lives and grow into a deeper walk with God and with their brothers and sisters in the Lord.
