Chapter Four
"Uh hem." Joey said as he and the rest of them opened the car doors.
"What? Like you've never made out before before." Chris exlcaimed as he gave Cheryl one more kiss and helped her out of the back seat.
"So what are we doing now?" Katy asked before Joey JC and Justin went for thir cab.
"You all get that big screen TV yet?" Justin asked.
"Yup. And it's hooked up to Katy's stereo, so we have surround sound." Cheryl bragged.
"OOOOOAHHHHHHHH!" they guys stammered out thinking of the possiblilties, sounding like they were watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Katy, Cheryl and Chels were laughing soooo hard at them.
"So I guess it's our place for movies huh?" Chels rhetorically asked.
"If that's ok with you." JC said.
"That's fine. We'll meet you there." Katy said as JC, Justin, and Joey went to get their cab.
In Cheryl's car........
"Do you think Brandi and Kimber are gonna mind having JC and Justin over?" Chels asked.
"Why would they mind?" Lance wondered.
"Yah, why would they mind?" Chris reinforced.
"Because oh, I dunno. Cause of them not being together. They haven't talked since the tour." Chels answered.
"Oh" Lance and Chris answered.
Back at the apartment........
*Ring Ring*
"I'll get it, you finish putting in the movie." Kimberly tells Brandi.
"Hello?"
"Hi. It's Joyce, is Katy there?"
"Oh fine Joyce, don't talk to me."
"Kimberly, is that you? I haven't talked to you in forever!! How hae you been?"
"Ok. Guys deffinately suck, but other than that I'm great. How about you?"
"Umm great except the guy thing. That's what I wanted to talk to Katy about. We always talk to each other when we ahve guy troubles." Katy and Joyce were cousins.
"Well, me and Brandi are here wallowing in our sorrow breaking in our new big screen TV, fully loaded. Katy's not here, but are welcome to join us. Miseryloves company."
"Well, ok. But only cuz it's fully loaded." Joyce joked.
"All right see you in few." Kimberly laughed.
"Ok see ya."
"Who was that?" Brandi asked
"Joyce, She's comming over here to help us wallow." Kimber answered.
"Who's wallowing? I'm not." Brandi protested.
"Uh huh. And that's why we ahve gone through a box of doughnuts, 2 pizzas, and 1 1/2 gallons of ice cream while watching movies?"
"Well, ok. Mayde I'm wallowing just a little," Brandi admitted.
Joyce was there in five minutes and they settled down with a bowl of popcorn each
and started Dumb and Dumber.
"Honey I'm hooooooome!!" Chris yelled as the 7 entered the apartment.
Katy walked in and saw Joyce. Although they had talked on the phone as much as possible, they hadn't actually seen each other since before High Harmonies left for their Euro-Asin tour the previous year.
"CUZZZ!!!" She yelled as they ran twards each other for a hug.
"Long time no see huh?" Joyce exclaimed.
"huh hem. So are you gona introduce us to cuz here?" Justin asked.
"Oh, sorry. This is Joey, Chris, JC, Lance, and the anxcious one here is Justin. Guys, this is my little cousin Joyce." They all shook her hand and sayd their hellos.
"Man, although you two have oppisite eye and hair color( katy ahd blond hair and blue eyes, Joyce had brown hair and eyes), you look exactly alike in the face." Justin remarked.
"Yah, you could be long lost sisters. I can see it now: Today on Sally we have long lost relatives reunited" Chris joked
"Um Chris, we haven't lost eachother. Sorry, but that wouldn't work. Nice try though" Joyce corected.
"Oh, well it was worth a try."
"So what are you doing over here? I thought you were in school?" Katy asked as they all went into the living room.
"I decided to take a year off. I'm trying to find an internship right now."
"What brings you to the papartment?"
"Well, me and Kurt broke up and I was gonna see if you wanted to have a 'all men suck' session, but it looks like you don't need one." She said noticing Lance and Katy holding hands. "So the three of us were gonna have one, but you all came in, so that kinda blew that one."
"Oh sorry."
"So are we gonna get to experience this TV of the Gods or not?" Joey asked as he went over and sat by Chels.
"Of course. What movie were you gonna watch?" Cheryl asked.
"Dumb and Dumber" Brandi said with a sigh, moving on the oppisite side of the room from Justin.
"Well, since we have the whole stereo thing, why don;t we try out a movie with better sound.... hum." Katy suggested.
"How about Candy Man?" Joyce and Justin asked at the same time.
"Well, even though Tweelde Dee and Tweedle Dumb over there came up with the idea, it is a good one." JC agreed. so did everyone else. Chels put in the movie and sat down next to Joey in a chair. Katy and Lance took the other chair. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb sat in the floor over by Katy and Lance. Chris Crhis and Cheryl took one end of the couch and Brandi took the other end. This left JC and Kimberly to sit next to each other on the floor.
