Here are some of my fine feathered storm chasing friends at their best!!!! Although these are some of the finest chaser and a great group of friends, I apologize for their mug shots!!!! Here is my first storm chasing partner Chris. He is also from Omaha area, Valley to be exact. He is likely the best chaser I have ever met. Here he is doing his usual after chase routine!!!!
Here is another one of the best storm chasers you will ever meet. He is a meteorologist in Elko, NV (yes they do have some weather there). You know he was born to be a meteorologist because he got married (his beautiful wife Mandy is sitting next to him) on the second driest day of the year in Salt Lake City, but if you click on the link below the his picture you can see the severe thunderstorm that produced 80mph winds during his wedding!!!!!
Although I don't have a picture scanned of her, Barb, a graduate meteorology student at Penn State University, is another storm chaser that anyone would be very lucky to have on a chase. Her navigational skills are a cut above the rest of the chasers, I think I have only missed two tornadoes because of her guidance. Just kidding, she is a really good chaser, and I have a picture out here soon of her!!! Next we have Tim from Des Moinse, Iowa. One of the funny chasers I have ever chased with, and is also one of the more chasers dedicated to public safety as he has helped the Sky Warn spotters get started over in central Iowa. Here he is, and I know you are thinking does he always look like this, and the answer is of course!!
This next guy is one of my best friends. He is a meteorology student at Creighton University here in Omaha, NE. He will be graduating in the spring of 2001, and off to start a long career in the field of meteorology. This last year was his first on the long chasers road, but took to it like a pro!!! Here he is spending time where he usually does, in the bathroom getting ready.
