Aims & Objectives
The
aim of Notre Dame education is to train young people for
unselfish leadership. The students educated here will in their
adult life be able to change the oppressive structures of society
by standing for justice and human rights. They are " to
assist their fellow citizens in
directing their lives to God
in Faith " by helping, healing, reconciling and taking a
firm stand for moral principles of honesty, integrity, hard work
and freedom.
A
genuine love for the poor, needy and a loving concern for
different types of oppressions suffered by women, minorities,
underpaid labourers, and weaker sections of society.
Proficent
speaking and writing ability so that she can use her talents as a
platform to speak and write against any injustices and
oppressions suffered by others.
A
willingness to involve herself in programmes, projects, camps,
workshops, etc., in which she will be actively involved in
helping the financially poor or deprived sections.
