Chapter One
"Am I original? Yeah. Am I the only one? Yeah. Am I sexual? Yeah." I continued to sing softly while walking through the aisles. I picked out the essentials, marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. "Am I everything you need? You'd better rock your body right. Everybody. I can't yet this damn song out of my head."
I heard a small laugh and looked at the man next to me. He looked to be in his early 20's with short, light brown hair and sky blue eyes.
"Is something wrong?"
"What?"
"You laughed. Is something wrong?"
"Oh, no. Nothing's wrong. I just don't think that's such a horrible song."
“A fan of the Backstreet Boys, huh?" I eyed him curiously.
"You could say that. My name is Brian."
"I'm Nikki. It's nice to meet you." Brian and I both paid for our things and began walking together.
"So, Brian, where are you from? Judging from your accent I'd day south of here."
He blushed lightly and said, "I'm from Florida, but the accent is from growing up in Kentucky."
"Florida? How many people from Florida come to Indiana to go camping?"
"Five," I looked at him strangely, and he laughed, "Well, there are five of us anyway. Four of my friends and I are camping here for a week to get away for a while."
"What do you have to get away from? Are you fugitives? Should I be afraid of you?" He started laughing hard and I joined him.
"I didn't think so. You seem nice enough."
"Well, thank you. Here's my campsite. Is yours far? Do you want me to walk you?"
"Nope, I think I can make the extra five feet on my own, thanks. My site is right next to yours."
"Well, I guess I'll be seeing you again then."
"Yep, I'll see you later."
I walked to my tent with a smile stretched from ear to ear.

"Nothing, AJ. Just in a good mood."

Dear Diary,
You’ll never believe what happened to me today. I met a Backstreet Boy. Yes, THE Brian Littrell. I pretended like I didn't know who he was. I didn't want to scare him away. I just have to be careful not to slip up and give myself away. He said he's here with four friends. It must be them. I have to be nonchalant. Ok, that's all for today.
