Scott, Bob, Clint, Dave, and Sarah had met Gil in his hotel room, which is where they were now. Scott and Gil were laying on one bed, Dave and Bob were on the bed next to it and Clint and Sarah were laying on the floor inbetween the two beds. They had been chatting about a variety of different things. Like how The Moffatts and Gil would be recording a new song called 'If You Only Knew'. Sarah had heard bits and pieces of it and it sounded great so far.
They now just laid there listening to the rain hitting the hotel roof. Clint was running his hands through Sarahs soft hair; Sarah was thinking about her Aunt; Bob was stareing at Clint and Sarah wondering how he could fix his problem; Dave had his arm over his eyes, Scott was laying on his pillow with his eyes closed; and Gil was stareing at the ceiling.
"Hey guys lets play a game," Clint proposed breaking the silence and waking up Scott and Dave.
"Okay what should we play?" Sarah asked pushing her aunt out of her mind.
"Well it doesnt really have a name but this is how you play. Okay someone chooses a person and you go around the room saying what you think about the person. Get it?" Clint explained as he looked around the room to make sure no one had any questions.
"Yes," everyone answered at random times.
"Okay good. Bob is the person and well start with you Dave," Clint stated.
"Huh? Oh right, okay. Uhh....Bob, hmmm.....your cool?" Dave stated sleepily.
"Gee thanks Dave!" Bob laughed.
"Bob, for a little brother, your really mature," Scott complemented. He and Bob were almost inseparable and trusted eachother deeply.
"Bobby! You the little brother I never had! Your awesome," Gil said.
"Bob, all I need to say is thank you and you know what Im talking about," Sarah whispered. Bob nodded his head then looked at Clint.
"Well, your not a loser!" Clint laughed. Bob threw a pillow at him.
"Okay next person is going to be Sarah. Well start with Gil," Clint barked as the pillow hit him in the face.
"Um...well I just met you. Your nice, funny, beautiful....." Gil started.
"And TAKEN!" Clint said putting his arm around her and emphasizing the word taken. Gil laughed.
"Sar, your like my little sister. I have to watch out for you, and do nice things for you. And you still annoy me as much as my brothers," Scott sarcastically stated remembering how many times he had to go to her rescue.
"Your cool," Dave yawned. Bob just sat there. He didnt know what to say. He thought he was beginning to like Sarah but he couldnt just say that infront of everyone, especialy Clint. He began to get angry, then in a confused state yelled, "Clint this is a stupid game!" Bob got up and ran out the door into the night.
Everyone sat confused. But the most confused was Sarah. Did Bob hate her? Why wouldnt he want to say something nice about her? After everything they had been through and after everything she told him.....how could he be so cruel? Sarah felt tears fill her eyes. She stood up and ran out the door.
Hmmm...now thats strange. I wonder whats bothering Bob? And whatever Bob did really hurt Sarah so I better look into that too. I should talk to Bob first. Without saying anything Scott stood up and left the room.
"Quick! Someone call a shrink! Theyre dropping like flies!" Gil laughed. Dave and Clint laughed too.
Scott closed the hotel door and saw Bob sitting by the pool with his feet in the water. It had stopped raining, and the moon was of clear view just over the tree tops. He walked over to Bob. He pulled his shoes off and placed his feet into the heated pool. Then he turned to his brother and smiled.
"Whats wrong?" Scott asked.
"Well its rather complicated actually," Bob laughed thinking about it.
"Tell me."
"Okay here goes nothing. I like three girls, yes count them, 1..2..3.. and I dont know what to do. They are all so wonderful and I cant choose," Bob sighed.
"Bob! Thats nothing that bad! Just choose the girl you've liked the longest," Scott advised. He couldnt believe that Bob was making such a big deal about this. And how could he hurt Sarah after everything shes been through?
"Thats where the complications come in," Bob said swirling his feet in the water. "You see of the three girls I like, one is taken, one is going to be taken, and the other is a year younger then me."
"Well, I dont know what to tell you, other then take the one who's a year younger," Scott told Bob. Bob sighed.
"Who are they anyway?" Scott asked now very curious.
"If I tell you, you have to promise to keep this between you, me, and the pool," Bob said in a serious tone. Scott laughed a little before agreeing to Bobs proposal.
"Selena, Ali, and Sarah," Bob cringed. He feared his brothers reaction.
"Well...." Scott sighed. "Don't touch Selena or I'll have to hurt you. And with Ali, I say go for it! As for Sarah, don't say anything to her. You'll just complicate her feelings for Clint and for all of us. Shes delicate right now and I think we all need to be her friend before were anything else. Do you understand what I'm saying?" Scott asked trying to make himself clear.
"Yes, I understand," Bob said quietly. Both boys stood up and walked back to their hotel rooms. Bob walked into the room that he and Sarah shared. He prepared himself for the wrath of Sarah as he closed the door. But then he realized she was alseep ontop of her bed. Bob smiled and laid a blanket over her.
"Goodnight Sarah," Bob whipsered.
