Dark Fury
Seems there's an animated Chronicles of Riddick movie, Dark Fury, coming out Tuesday. It's directed by Peter Chung, which means you'll be so interested in the look of things, it won't matter whether the plot's good or not.
Dark Fury official site
The animation clips are the best part. I gotta get in the biz.

Oh yeah, I changed my homepage for the first time in 3 years.

Just like music
I'd been wanting to play the option music from Mario Kart D-D, but the old keyboard didn't work so I kept running upstairs and downstairs from the game to the piano trying to right down the notes. It didn't work out. I was more recently, at school, was able to find low quality MP3s from the game and was able to make 1 midi. I also started on Bowser's Castle, but it was so hard to make out different instrument parts, I gave up, but I partially accomplished my goal. I printed out the notes to the piano track and wrote in the repeated bassline that I'll probably have to change for the piano arrangement. My plug's still busted.

Scribbled out is the word "untitled"

I submitted the midi to vgmusic.com. I'm the first to do that game I think. Since it IS the VG Music Archive, it won't be posted for months. I uploaded it here, but it may not play for some reason. I screwed up the "new age" track so bad. It was hard to disect.

Pilot
I keep doodling the character but haven't done anything with her yet. I just call her Pilot cuz she's got goggles, and they should be there for a reason.

This puff version's cute. I could lock it on the archives pages, maybe.

I planned to do this character I saw at Hanikamiya, but I ended up doing the other one first. I haven't tried to translate the pages yet, so there's not much else I can say.

Surf but no turf
Just surfing this Sunday and wondering why topcities has yet to downgrade my account.

Kaloway ? Andrew Dickman
I like how it looks, so I sketch it

I was somehow led to this EWJ site. Lemm's traditional artwork is so good it makes me want to break out the prismacolor pencils. I wish I could use them on something besides still lifes, but I hate soft lead too much. I don't have enough hardlead studio pencils with me to accomplish much of anything. But whatever. It's the source of my new desktop.
And here's wildbrain.com if you're interested in seeing animated clips and flash stuff.
And here's Crackle, Snap and Pop, (l to r) for anyone who's curious about what I did with that.

The Sound's the Star
What do your get when you look at tons of cereal mascots and later tons of LoZ on-line manga...

Click for 2 more Crackles

After I got Soul Calibur I've been wanting to draw Link with a stupid reference to cookie and shoe making. Then I thought to draw young Link pouring milk into a bowl of Rice Krispies with mascots close at hand. Now I think maybe I'll just do the 3 gnomes and end it. What's the difference between an elf and a gnome anyway?

Heh heh, my title's a picture.
Beaucoupdargent has gone down at least 4 times today. Man, I got files to delete. How can I delete files if I can't check to see what they look like first? There's a way or two around that but it's unnecessarily tedious.
After I did the outlines for that RRB pic I drew about 1 or 2 months ago, I drew the stamp in the corner, too. I would've stuck it on the picture, but it clashed. If the characters weren't copyrighted, I could use it as a signature stamp. I'll stick it somewhere or other.

sketchy sketchy
I need a new site theme

but more importantly a summer job.

If I can take my site off of animelab, if that place even still exists, cuz the anime is in the layout. Most of the fan art is from American cartoons and Japanese games, not Japanese cartoons.

See Blossom jump
I was deleting files when I came across Dee Dee jumping rope, someone's icon from the Chicken Pox episode, so I sketched Blossom out in the 7 frames based on that animation.

Vanimal Zoo
Still interested in toys. I started working on these Vanimal zoo...Devil Robots...Hellcatz...things.

Full vinyl group

With all that Aqua Teen fan art they post on [adult swim], maybe I should hook something up.

Later that day...
Oh look. I finished the Hellcatz

Indubitably Delicious!
I planned to do a picture of Rocky and Bullwinkle, and from there I found a site that said Boris and Natasha were originally on the Lucky Charms cereal box. From there I found a site with cereal box mascots and such. From there I saw the little Crispy Critters thing from the 80s. And from there I found an article reviewing the commercial, and as icing on the cake, the actual commercial. Crispy Critters Commercial
For people who are entertained by kinda weird kinda goofy vague memories of cereal commercials, I suggest you take a look. If not, just watch the commercial anyway for quick chuckle. I remember saying "...indubitably, indubitably, indubitably delicious..." a lot thanks to that commercial. Don't ask me what the cereal tasted like, but apparently it wasn't good.

I finished up an old request this afternoon. Then I reread the request and realized I had to do it over. This is version 1.

BrothersJoker
At a recent visit to KidRobot I found BJ Hammer. I like that one, but I thought it would be interesting to draw all the brothers. I found some 12" versions, but only one little BJ Hammer and a smaller BJ Bowl.

Official website, Brothers Free
Drawing toys is fun.
