Vanimal Zoo
Still interested in toys. I started working on these Vanimal zoo...Devil Robots...Hellcatz...things.

Full vinyl group

With all that Aqua Teen fan art they post on [adult swim], maybe I should hook something up.

Later that day...
Oh look. I finished the Hellcatz

Indubitably Delicious!
I planned to do a picture of Rocky and Bullwinkle, and from there I found a site that said Boris and Natasha were originally on the Lucky Charms cereal box. From there I found a site with cereal box mascots and such. From there I saw the little Crispy Critters thing from the 80s. And from there I found an article reviewing the commercial, and as icing on the cake, the actual commercial. Crispy Critters Commercial
For people who are entertained by kinda weird kinda goofy vague memories of cereal commercials, I suggest you take a look. If not, just watch the commercial anyway for quick chuckle. I remember saying "...indubitably, indubitably, indubitably delicious..." a lot thanks to that commercial. Don't ask me what the cereal tasted like, but apparently it wasn't good.

I finished up an old request this afternoon. Then I reread the request and realized I had to do it over. This is version 1.

BrothersJoker
At a recent visit to KidRobot I found BJ Hammer. I like that one, but I thought it would be interesting to draw all the brothers. I found some 12" versions, but only one little BJ Hammer and a smaller BJ Bowl.

Official website, Brothers Free
Drawing toys is fun.

3 day weekend

I finished it last night and stuck it on my homepage. It was meant for the blog, but it isn't setup friendly. The bigger version is at DA. I'm posting it here just to compare the 3 on one page.

My print turned out as well as expected, unfortunately even in it's little bag covering it managed to get bent. The print is of the Kokeshi doll I drew for JIA's birthday, sans text. If someone wants to buy it, I'll have to go to a printer and get another made. I'll charge no less than double what it cost me to print. I wonder what a print of that pic at the top of the post would look like. Ha! I wouldn't dare.

I found a year old sketch of Jack and VH whilst sorting through papers. Val Hallen's cosplaying as Ken Masters from Street Fighter. I can't believe THAT's 50K...
Apparently "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" is Craig McCracken's new cartoon. He must love the kids.

I found an sd Spider-man toy on-line. He's so cute and squat I had to sketch him.

Prints
I told my mom I was gonna do some digital still lifes and make prints. I'm just testing the theory for now, so I went to a printer today. 10 dollar processing fee? Man, please. Then I went to another printer, and I'll see what I end up with tomorrow morn.

JIA, your outline tutorial is finished. Good luck with photoshop.

I don't know about the rest of yous mugs, but I draw on a clipboard. Art students and their sketchbooks. Bah! Sketchbook schmetchbook.

I finally checked out antarctic-press.com. I like this NHS Cartoon Network/comic book chars cover, as I tend to like obscure references.

Just what I always wanted
I didn't realize angelfire had a blog system, but then I haven't logged in in months. I'm thankful for that. I'll change the layout soon. I have a picture in the works that I started in Math class this morning.
Requests...
I drew 5 requests yesterday and finished coloring the last one into early this morning. They're in my homestead account that I got way back around the time I first got my scanner. Just go here because it's easier than putting up all the links here. I don't mind requests, depending on the person, but don't ask me for anything. I'm a wreck right now.

And oh yeah, this is the sketch I made this morning. It scanned rough because it was so light, covered with eraser pieces, and just plain sketchy. I'll tweak it, ink it and so on.

A tout a l'heure.
