Long time so see. I have more time to blog this semester. I didn't think I had much to blog about but then realized that a blog is for any insignificant little thing that happens in my insignificant little life. SO, on that note, I sketched a picture of Hay Lin today. There's a slightly different version at Deviant Art (scraps section) where I covered up the fact that I didn't give her a shirt, though this one looks better. I recorded the W.I.T.C.H movie thing in December and since then have been trying to find out more about the comics and overall plot, and last night I started saving some references in case I should draw them some day. You don't get many pics of the bad guys, which is a shame cuz something weird's going on with that guy's hair. I saw a W.I.T.C.H. segment in a Disney comics magazine so I assume the full English versions will show up in the states soon if not already. I'm taking a storyboarding class this semester. I bought Prismacolor markers (cool grays) since not all of it should be on the computer. I decided to base my animation storyboard on something, lego Time Cruisers starring Dr. Cyber, Tim, and the monkey. I started doing character designs before researching it again, and did some tweaking after seeing what was what. I'd originally mistaken the bad guy for the lego Adventures bad guy and assumed the skeleton(s) was/were the other bad guy. I also confused Dr. Cyber with another buck-toothed legoman. Needless to say, it's not totally accurate, but more interesting this way in my opinion. So I ended up with a gangly bucktoothed scientist, a kid, and a monkey chasing a man in a top hat and monocle traveling with a skeleton in a top hat and suit who screw up time. My sources...

New Year's Begone
I don't blog so much because I'm not on-line everyday this winter break. If we're lucky, I'll pick up the new PPG calendar from the mall and there will be scans for the new year.

My internet came back after a couple weeks of being down, however it's been off and on for a month. Anyways...I'm on a Teen Titans high, which doesn't really matter because I'm trying not to draw anything "for real" for real besides my animation which is due next Friday. Wish me luck.

There are a few reasons why I haven't blogged. 1 is because I've been using a tripod account for school and jumping back and forth logging into lycos is annoying. One is because I'm too concerned about school to talk about pictures and things. One is because it's not my top priority. I have a reason to blog. I can't access pagebuilder right now for one. I found my site plugged though Frozenflame's journal. How nice, I thought. I should dedicate a picture to her. Easy Breezy

At the PPGWorld forums, I remember someone posted a picture of Buttercup with hair bows. It was a cute idea that never crossed my mind, maybe because it's so out of character. If I color this FOR REAL for real, then I'll put it with the Small Images. I was trying to hurry it up last night. She reminds me of Boo from Monster's Inc.



On Sunday I saw the end of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!...? I may be wrong on the name, but anyways, their mouths may move like anime, but I'm pretty sure it ain't. Even so, it's got a unique look to it as far as more recent cartoons go. I respect that. I can't say whether its a good cartoon or not just yet. Jetix link

I drew this at a Japanese oekaki board. Probably be better if I learned it, hunh? So I left my standard note, translated, "I'm sorry. I cannot speak Japanese." And then I went on about my business. Appeal is a cultural thing...

I recently downloaded "Musicology" and now the song's stuck in my head. It's one of those things I could listen to all day and not get tired of, anyways.



I even more recently joined the oekaki board at Titansgo.net. Frankly, I wasn't keen on the idea of registering, but after what happened at my board, the system seems more understandable. I drew a Jinx picture, which is now in my ASD archives, and called it a day. Unfortunately, I missed the latest episode she was in.

I drew design sheets of sd versions of me and Seasaidh's characters during my break and decided to draw them for real a couple days ago.

I thought I could set up a blog like this since my other account gets cleared out now and then, so I'm halfway there. I have accounts all over the place. That way either one of us could post whatever, whenever.

Lastly, there's a new Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends club at Deviant Art. They linked to one of my Mac pictures and I didn't even know about it or them. I thought about doing the contest entry for fun but not submitting it, because I don't want to join any clubs. I don't want icons stuck in my journal. I'll just stick with TT club.
