Nick was walking up the stairs behind Bree holding her hips and watching them as the swayed back and forth with each step. Not paying attention he stumbled on a step and took them both down in his fall. Fortunately, he was able to grab her with one arm and reach around her with the other and brace his hand against the floor so he didn’t land directly on top of her. The two sat on the steps and giggled over the mishap.

“You two okay? Brianna clumsy Bigfoot there didn’t hurt you did he?” Mike was asking. Nick tried to scowl at him but failed in his attempt and resumed giggling.

“Naw, I’m fine. He caught me.” She tried to stand but Nick still had her around the waist and she fell back down into his lap.

“Here, let me help you.” Mike was offering her his hand to help her stand. “Nick, let go man so she can stand. “I swear you two are nuts.”

“Relax man, it’s all good.” Nick managed to get out finally getting his giggles under control and standing along with Bree. Everyone resumed heading upstairs. Once there Bree turned to head into the room designated as hers, the one she uses to change and shower, to do just that, when Nick reached out and pulled her to him. “Come in here, Bree.” He whispered.

“But I wanna take a shower.”

“If you get in the shower I’ll never get you out. Remember what happened last night. You know what Ecstasy does to ya. Please baby? I wanna show ya something.” They were standing in the doorway to his room and she was standing with her back right up to his chest. When she hesitated for a minute thinking, she really wanted to shower, she just knew the hot water would feel so good and so relaxing, Nick took the opportunity to comb his fingers back through her hair and whisper in her ear “Please baby, pretty please?”

She caved. Bree and Nick were similar in the fact that they loved to have someone play with their hair. It was a sensation that elicited a multitude of feelings depending on the situation. Bree just nodded her head yes. Nick kissed her briefly on her neck.

“You two gonna be okay for the night?” Mike was asking as he walked down the hall to his own room.

“Yeah man, just fine. See ya in the morning.” Nick said as he started walking backwards into his own room. He wiggled his fingers along Bree’s sides tickling her.

“Nick!” She exclaimed. They both laughed. Tony said his goodnights to everyone. Over her laughter Bree said “Night Tony, Night Mike.” Then Nick picked her up, kicked the door closed, and tickled her all the way to the bed.

Mike just shook his head as he walked into his room. Nick was different with her. Well he had always been different with Brianna. But now he was really different with her, and he wasn’t sure if that was a good thing yet or not. He like Brianna and didn’t want her to get hurt. He hadn’t made up his mind if he liked the idea of the two of them being more than just friends yet. He couldn’t understand how Tony was taking things all in stride, but then that was just how Tony was. Nothing seemed to faze him that much.
