Chapter Five -- The Call
~ After the first concert of the Europe Tour ~
All of them seat down for a meeting.
"Today's concert was just average." Howie says. "Lori, is something bothering you?"
"I'm sorry guys..." Lori says.
"We're not blaming you Lori..." Brain says. "But if stuff just keep on affecting your work, it is not good. We're not saying this because we're in charge or anything, it's just because we're your friends and want to be there for you."
"Thanks Brian... I'll try my best to get rid of whatever that's bothering me."
~ Lori's room -- 10:32 am -- next morning ~
KNOCK KNOCK
Lori looks at the clock and opens the door.
"Good morning Lori." Nick said. "Sleep well last night?"
"Yes... thanks, would you like to come in?" Lori asks.
"Oh... thanks, just wanna tell you we're gonna have breakfast together." Nick says.
"Okay... give me 10 minutes, I'll be ready."
"Do you mind if I stay here and wait for you?" Nick asks.
"Of course I don't mind... you're so nice Nick." Lori winks as she walks into the bathroom.
~ Cafe Histeria -- 10:45 am ~
"Good morning Lori." the boys and Melissa said.
"Good morning everybody." Lori says as Nick pulls the chair for her.
<Miss Lori Ho, please answer the phone on booth #5>
"Excuse me guys." Lori stands up and heads towards booth #5
"Hello? Lori speaking..."
<Lori... it's Miguel.>
"Oh... so you finally remember that your girlfriend is in Europe." Lori says.
<Lori, I'm sorry... I forgot that you're leaving that day, so I didn't go to the airport.> Miguel said.
"Yea... you forgot... what an excuse... MR. STEWART!" Lori hangs up. She walks back to the table.
Once they finish breakfast, Kevin says, "So, we'll meet 2 hours later, okay guys?"
"k..."
~ Lori's hotel room -- 12:03 pm ~
RING RING
"Hello?" Lori picks up the phone.
<Lori... this is Miguel, why you hang up on me just now?>
"I don't wanna talk to you that's why!"
KNOCK KNOCK
"And by the way, Mr. Stewart, would you hold on for a sec coz i need to answer the door, but if you don't wanna wait, that will be fine for me too!" Lori says.
Lori opens the door. It is Nick.
"Hey Lori... just wanna see if you're okay coz you look sad after the phone call just now... oh you're on the phone now... I guess I won't bother you then..." Nick says.
"No it's okay Nick... come on in." Lori says.
"Thanks."
Lori gets back on the phone. "Hello..."
<Lori... who's that?> Miguel asks.
