Chapter One - Was Is Just A Dream?
<I will love you like I'll never love again> a tall man said to Lori, she is trying so hard to take a look at his face, but it's too blurry, she really can't see.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Lori, it's time to wake up now!" Lori's mom knocks on the door.
Lori woke up, realizing it was all just a dream. But who's that tall man?
"Okay mom." Lori responed.
"Be quick hun, Miguel is here already." Lori's mom said.
Lori quickly gets dressed up and goes downstairs. Miguel goes up to her and gives her a hug.
"Hey sweetie, you ready?" Miguel kisses Lori's cheeks.
"Yea... let's go Miguel... bye mom!"
Lori and Miguel get in the car.
"So Lori, what exactly is your new assignment about?"
"The company just put me in a new band. I don't even know who I'll be playing for. I heard that it's a group and they're going on tour real soon." Lori answered.
They arrived at the Jive Records building. Lori gets to the 7th floor by the elevator. She steps out and start looking left and right, trying to find room 710, the meeting room. She enters the room once she found it. There are 4 people sitting there. The person in charge of the band is Melissa. She is Lori's friend since high school. Today is also her first day of work.
"Everybody, this is Lori." Melissa introduces.
"Lori, this is Ben on the keyboard, Fred on the base, William on guitar." Melissa said as Lori shakes hands with each of them, "Nice to meet you all." Lori smiles.
"Wait... you look familiar, are you the girlfriend of the uprising singer Miguel Stewart?" Ben asked.
"Yes..." Lori smiles.
All of a sudden, the door slams open. Five good-looking, talented guys walk into the room. Lori tries to get her mind together, but she can't, it's the Backstreet Boys. Lori is a super Backstreet fan since she was 13. She is now 21, that's 8 years.
"So this is our new band." Kevin Richardson says.
"Hi Kevin..." Melissa says. She's the biggest Kevin fan. "hmm... my name is Melissa and I'm in charge of the band."
"Hi Melissa... can you introduce the others?" Kevin says with a warm smile.
"Yea of course... this is Ben on keyboard... this is Fred on the base... this is William on guitar... and this is Lori on the drums."
"Girl drummer? Way cool man..." Lori's favorite Backstreet Boy Nick Carter says. "Lori... nice to meet you. I'm Nick." He gives Lori a friendly hug.
"Just wanna make sure whether you guys know all our names, coz once we've got a band who have absolutely no idea who the Backstreet Boys are, that was really funny." Brian said.
"Don't worry... we got the biggest Backstreet fan here." Melissa said as she looks over to Lori.
"Cool! okay... we gotta start the meeting." Howie says.
"We'll be on tour starting next month. The tour is gonna last for six months. First three months we'll stay in US, we'll have a week off and then head off another three months in Europe." AJ said.
"About the opening act in US, it's gonna be an uprising singer - Miguel Stewart, and in Europe, it's still undecided. We got Miguel because we're thinking about signing him under our own record company. Do any of you guys have an idea who he is?" Kevin asks.
"Yes..." Lori said. "In fact, what a coincidence, Miguel is my boyfriend."
