Chapter Nine - Forever As One
"You haven't let me go..." A voice appear behind Nick.
Nick turns around, "Lori???" He can't believe his eyes. Without a word, Nick holds Lori tightly in his arms while the others quietly leave the room.
"I can't believe it... I thought you left already..." Nick said.
"I didn't leave... I don't want to regret for the rest of my life of letting go of you." Lori said.
"I will never let you go again..." Nick kisses Lori passionately.
They go back to Nick's house.
"So what now?" Nick asks.
"I don't know... I mean the professor should be really mad at me right now... but that's the path I took." Lori said.
"You give up your studies for me?" Nick said.
"Yea... and there's no way I can go back now... maybe you will have to take care of me from now onwards..." Lori smiles.
"I have no problem with that." Nick leans over and kisses Lori once again. He brought Lori to his bedroom where they made love to each other, both of them feeling how deep their love is.
THE NEXT MORNING
Lori slowly opens her eyes and sees Nick looking at her.
"Good morning sweetie." Nick said, leaning over to give Lori a kiss.
"Good morning..." Lori smiles, she grabs one of Nikc's T-shirt, puts it on and said, "I'll go get breakfast ready..."
Lori is cooking breakfast while Nick comes downstairs.
"Lori... the guys called and said we're gonna have a meeting 2 hours later, they asked you to go too." Nick said.
"Okay..." Lori smiles.
TWO HOURS LATER
"Good morning everyone." Nick and Lori enter the meeting room, Nick holding onto Lori's hand.
"Good morning... Lori, welcome back, we've got a present for you." Kevin said, handing Lori a contract.
"What is this?" Lori asks.
"A contract to join KBNHA records. You're gonna be a singer." Nick said.
"Wait... what?" Lori said.
"Nick said you have the potential and he said you sing really well... so here's the chance." Howie said.
"You really think I can do it?" Lori asks Nick.
"I truly believe my girlfriend can do anything." Nick smiles and Lori signs the contract.
Two days later, KBNHA Records announces Lori as the new singer through a press conference.
The Boys are in the meeting room when Taylor shows up.
"Gosh... what are you guys thinking? She is the new singer under KBNHA?" Taylor said, pointing to Lori.
"Well Taylor, it's KBNHA Records not Jive Records, I don't think you can change anything about it." Nick said.
"Oh well, who cares... I'm just here to remind you honey," she puts her arms around Nick, "that our engagement party is going to be the day after tomorrow... and tomorrow is the MTV Video Music Award... did you get notified that I'm going to be your date? Anyways, I'll see you tomorrow." She kisses Nick's cheeks and leaves.
"Nevermind what she said... ugh! I really can't stand her attitude." Nick said.
"It's alright." Lori said.
