Chapter Eight - Don't Wanna Lose You Now
TWO WEEKS LATER
The day after they said goodbye, Lori accepted the offer from Professor Beckham. She is leaving for England tomorrow. The doorbell rings while she is packing up. She opens the door, "Jason?"
"Lori... I just wanna say I still love you and hope you can give me one more change, I can go England with you..." Jason said, both of them didn't realize that Nick has come and is standing behind Jason.
"No, you're not going with her and she's not gonna be with you anymore..." Nick said.
"I'm sorry Nick, but I'm back with Jason..." Lori said.
"What?"
"Yea... I'm back with him and he's coming England with me... I still love him..."
"Lori... I thought you're serious about me... I guess I was wrong, I don't think we're gonna see each other again. I regret giving you my love. Goodbye." Nick leaves with anger.
THE NEXT DAY
Nick has been sitting there the whole morning without saying a word.
"You okay Nick?" Kevin asks as the others walk towards them.
"No, I'm not, but I will be... can't believe I fell in love with a girl who doesn't even love me truly." Nick said.
"You mean Lori?" Brian asks.
"She's back with Jason..." Nick said.
"No way, are you sure about the whole thing?" Howie asks.
"Yes... I saw it and heard it in her own words last night." Nick said.
A voice appeared at the door. "You don't deserve her Nick Carter. You don't even understand her. I can't believe she spent the whole night crying over a guy like you." Jason said angrily.
"Jason? What... what do you mean? I thought you're going England with Lori." Nick said.
"You really believe what she said? Last night I arrived at her door not long before you did. Dude, I haven't seen her since the making of the video until last night... I can't believe you can't see the truth in her reaction... she's just using me so that you will get over her!" Jason said.
"She's not back with you?" Nick asks.
"No, stupid! I was trying to comfort her last night and she told me she is still very in love with you... and you've hurt her, you said you regret giving her your love..." Jason said. "And that's why I came back here to tell you the truth, if you go to the airport now, you might still be able to get hold of her."
"Nick, go now! I know you've been indecisive because the group's career is involved. But remember one thing, we are your brothers and the thing we want to see the most is you getting the love of your life and not regretting in anything you do... so go!" Kevin said.
"Thanks guys!" Nick said as he rushes out the door.
He gets to the airport as soon as possible, and gets to the gate where Lori's flight is departing...
AN HOUR LATER
The Boys and Jason have been sitting in the room, waiting for Nick to come back.
Finally they hear someone opens the door, it is Nick.
"Nick... you're back!" AJ said as he looks behind Nick. "Where's Lori?"
"I didn't get there on time, she left..." Nick said.
"Nick..." Brian taps on his shoulders.
"I'm so stupid! Nick Carter, you're so stupid!" Nick said to himself as he punches the wall. "I should trust her, she loves me... I shouldn't have let her go... I shouldn't have..." Nick said with tears in her eyes.
