Chapter One -- Take A Pick
"Oh my god Lori, wake up wake up!" Lori's housemate Laney and Jennifer shout as they try to wake Lori up from bed.
"What's wrong guys?" Lori opens her eyes slightly. "It's 4:30 in the morning, I still have an early final tomorrow..." Lori says after she takes a look at the clock.
"You should have gone clubbing with us... you won't believe what happen..." Jennifer says with a big smile on her face.
"I have a final tomorrow morning... besides, you know I'm not that into clubbing..." Lori sits up from bed.
"Guess who we met in the club? We just met Howie and AJ from the Backstreet Boys!" Jennifer says.
"You serious?" Now you make me regret for not going with you guys... stupid final..." Lori says.
"Don't worry, you haven't miss the BIG thing yet..." Laney says.
"What?" Lori asks.
"Howie and AJ told us that they're having a video shoot here in Florida this Saturday, they asked us to go try out for a role in the video... but too bad I can't go, I've gotta follow up that research I'm on." Laney says.
"Although we won't get picked probably... but that means we're gonna meeet them in person!" Lori smiles.
"Yup, that's all that matters... unfortunately, we're gonna see someone we hate to see..." Jennifer says.
"Who?" Lori asks.
"Taylor Vonde... gosh, I just hate her attitude, she just thinks she's so pretty and whatsoever... now she's like telling all her friends that she will be the one pick by the Backstreet Boys... ugh!" Jennifer says.
"I hope I can concentrate well on my final tomorrow... I'm getting nervous and excited about this upcoming Saturday!" Lori says.
SATURDAY MORNING 10:03 AM, BACKSTREET BOYS VIDEO SHOOTING SITE
"Guys, please come over..." Michael, the director of the video, says as he calls the Backstreet Boys over.
"Sup Michael?" AJ asks.
"Ok... we've came down to 5 girls out of the 10 that shows up this morning... maybe you guys wanna pick out the 2 that are gonna be in the video?" Michael asks.
"Alright..." Nick says.
The five girls are then brought in front of the Backstreet Boys.
"You guys might want to introduce yourself to the Boys." Michael says.
"My name is Taylor Vonde. I'm Homecoming Queen 3 years in a row in the high school I attended and was crowned Prom Queen in my senior year. I have been modeling for commercials and music videos for the past few years..."
And then there are two girls name Mary and Felicia, Jennifer is after that. Last but not the least, it is Lori's turn.
"My name is Lori... I'm a really big Backstreet Boys fan since I'm in middle school." Lori smiles and continues, "I'm now a forensic chemistry major student at the University of Florida..."
"Ok... it will be Nick and Howie picking 2 of you guys, since Kevin, Brian and AJ got Kristin, Leighanne and Sarah to appear in the video... Howie and Nick... take your pick." Michael says.
"Dude you guys, that Taylor girl is hot... but a little attitude... but it's all up to you guys..." AJ says.
"hmm... I would like to pick Jennifer." Howie speaks up first. Jennifer is really surprise, she goes up to Howie and gives him a really big hug and thank him.
"Nick, it's your turn..." Howie says as everybody else is also looking at Nick.
