Chapter Eight -- N-Control
THREE MONTHS LATER
"Alright... I'll see you two days later than, bye!" Nick hangs up and Brian seats down next to him.
"You talking to Lori just now?" Brian asks.
"Yea..." Nick answers.
"Never see you acting like this before Nick." Kevin says as he joins Brian and Nick.
"I'm not sure why guys. But whenever I have time, I wanna call her up just to hear her voice." Nick smiles. "I just ask her to cruise with me two days later on my N-Control."
"I know... or your won't be calling her all the time even you're not in Florida."
TWO DAYS LATER
It had been a wonderful day. Both of them have a really good time. It is now 9:30 pm. The stars are hanging high up in the sky. Nick stops N-Control in the middle of the sea. Lori is sitting on the deck, looking up to the stars.
"It's such a beautiful night." Lori said.
"Lori, wanna try to drive my N-Control a bit?"
"You sure about that Nick?"
"Yea.. just for a while, come on..." Nick takes Lori's hand. Lori didn't move, she feels different this time with the way Nick holds her hand. She didn't speak, but just looking into Nick's eyes.
"Actually, I wanna hold your hand since the beginning of today, but I'm not sure what you feel about me..." Nick says while walking Lori up to the control deck. He teaches Lori how to control the boat.
"Put your hands on the control panel." Nick says. Lori puts her hands on the panel. Then Nick puts his on top of hers, teaching her how to control the boat. He is so close to Lori. Lori can feel him breathing next to her. Nick then slowly leans his head towards Lori's from the back, then whispers into her ears, "I love you."
They stops the boat and Lori turns around.
"What did you say again?" Lori stands there, smiling.
"I said I LOVE YOU." Nick says. He then takes Lori closer to him, his lips brushes hers, then they kiss passionately.
"I love you too." Lori says after they kiss.
