Lori is listening to Backstreet Boys' DROWNING on the radio. There is a big traffic jam on the highway. She looks to her right. There was a car accident. A 7-passengers van crashed into a silver BMW in front of it. Lori immediately pulled over her car before the BMW since no police had arrived yet.
She walks over to the BMW and sees the driver coing out from the car. She looks fine, but a bit scared.
"Are you okay miss?" Lori asks.
"Yes." she answered.
"Okay, don't worry, I'll help you, I'm a medical intern at Marathon General Hospital." Lori said.
"My name is BJ. My friend is hurt inside the car, she is not feeling well." BJ said.
"Okay... let me go check her condition and the person in the van. But first, since you are okay, you think you can call 911?" Lori hands BJ her cell phone.
"Yea..."
The injured ones are then brought to the hospital. The doctors did a quick check up for BJ. She is fine. SHe is waiting for her brother to come pick her up.
"Thanks so much for helping us. What's your name?" Bj asks.
"I'm Lori. You don't need to thank me. I'm gonna be a doctor. That's my obligation." Lori smiles.
"My eldest brother is coming soon. He said he wanna thank you too." BJ said.
Lori pager rings. She looks at it and stands up, "I guess I can't see him, I've got a call from ER... gotta go now... take care BJ. Bye!"
Nick enters the room.
"BJ, how are you? You okay?" He asks.
"I'm fine Nick. Don't worry about it." BJ answers.
"Gosh BJ, you scare the heck out of me." Nick said, sweating. "Oh where's that medical intern that you mention on the phone just now?" Nick asks.
"She just left... like right before you come. Phone... phone.... oh crap!" BJ said.
"What's wrong BJ?" Nick asks.
"Lori left her cell phone with me, I used it to call 911 just now." BJ says.
"She will call back... and we can give it back to her... LORI... that's her name... alright, let's go home now BJ." Nick puts Lori's cell phone in his pocket.
