Hoggard shocked Pinecrest by scoring three goals in the first 12 minutes of Friday's girls' soccer match in Wilmington.      Pinecrest, now 1-1, settled down from there, but a late first-half goal by Latanya Cain was all the Patriots could manage in what ended in a 3-1 defeat. Hoggard (3-0) is ranked ninth in this week's 4-A coaches' poll.      The Patriots play their third road game in a row when they meet high-scoring Lumberton (2-1) this evening at 7 p.m. Coach Larry Martin's squad will be at home for the first time when it meets Douglas Byrd on Monday in its Mid-Southeastern Conference opener.
