Megan Cole and Katie Fields each performed a hat trick and Maggie Gartman had a goal and three assists as the Pinecrest girls’ soccer team completed the regular season with a 12-0 victory at Douglas Byrd Wednesday evening.      The Patriots, the state’s eighth-ranked 4-A squad, completed the regular season with a record of 14-0 in the Mid-Southeastern Conference and 20-0 overall. They are expected to get a bye in the first round of the state playoffs beginning next week. It took the Patriots 15 minutes to find the net, but then the goals came in bunches. Also scoring for the visitors were Molly Lynch, Lauren Broderick, Anne Brannon, Brittney Dishner and Georgia Haas.      Others contributing assists were Lynch (two), Katie Fields, Ann Fields, Broderick, Brannon, Dishner and Lora Smith. The shutout was the team’s 15th of the season.
