Andrew was assigned to Twenty Nine Palms CA in January 06.
He remained there until he was deployed to Iraq in February.
The city of Twentynine Palms includes the Marine Base and the combined population is about 25,000. The Marine Base is the City´s northernmost neighborhood. Southwest travelers know this growing oasis in the Morongo Basin as a gateway to the scenic 558,000 acre Joshua Tree National Park, and as a restful stopover on State Highway 62 between Los Angeles and the Colorado River.
Andrew is assigned to the MWSS-374.
