"Five, six, seven, eight." Fatima said clapping her hands to the beat of the music. The guy's stood out in front and the female and male dancers in the back. "Ok, now Brian, I want to see you change the direction from your right to your left." She said walking up to Brian.
It was a week later and they were practicing the moves for the soon upcoming tour. Donna glanced over at AJ and he was already stairing at her. She stuck her tounge out playfully and he put his out but in more of a sexual way. He giggled and muffled the sound when Fatima glanced her way.
"Ok. I want to see only the ladie's and the boy's on the floor." Fatima said as the male dancers walked to the back wall. Donna stood with four other girls. One had long blond hair and brown eyes, Amy. She was pretty but in a cute way. Then there was a brunette with brown eyes that had a killer sense of humor, Lisa. She was almost tomboyish, but still was very pretty. Next there was a young english girl who had black hair and blue eyes, Brittany. She was shy but very nice. Then last there was a girl who Donna had become friends with right off the bat. Her name was Carrie and she had Brown hair, green eyes and was pretty. She had the best personality, that matched Donna's.
"I want to see which girl's go with which guys." She said referring to which girl got which Backstreet Boy. "Ok, let's see." She said backing off and looking at each girl. AJ looked over at Donna and did a little lip kiss motion to make her laugh.
"Ok, Amy I want you with Kevin. Brittany I want you with Brian. Let's see" She said looking between Donna and Carrie. "Ok, Carrie you go to Howie, and Donna you to AJ." When she said Donna,Donna saw AJ's grin widen. "And Lisa you go to Nick." She said with her last one. "Ok we'll see how this works."
I grinned at Carrie. She had told me that she had a secret crush on Howie. It wasn't much of a secret the way she was flirting with him.
"Ok, lets work with this next song. Ok, right here watch what I do, and I want you guys to do this." She said stepping right and bending over doing a few dance moves. "And girls I want you to go to their right like this." She said showing them what to do. Soon they were finishing the whole routine to the song.
"Ok, everyone can go for lunch. Let's meet back in two hours." She said as everyone went to get their water bottles.
"So your my dancing buddy, goodie." He said childishly clapping his hands together.
"AJ grow up." She said laughing.
He just moved his hands up and down displaying his body implying that he was grown up. "You know you love me." He said wrapping his arms over her shoulder.
"Gross get your arms off of me. Those fake tatoo's might rub off on my shirt." She said laughing. Earlier that week she had been shocked by the site of all of them. She had teased him about them since then.Actually she did like them, she thought they were very sexy, but she wouldn't let him know what. He just stuck his tounge out.
"So where does everyone want to eat at?" Brian asked after they got changed.
"How about Chinese?" Howie asked rubbing his hands together.
"Fine with me." Kevin replied. Everyone else agreed.
"Hey guys, do you mind if I invite Carrie along?" Donna asked seeing Carrie about leave by herself.
"Yeah, bring her along." Howie said smiling. She winked at him and caught up with Carrie. She was very excited that they wanted her to come along with them. She was only 18 and right out of school, but she had been dancing since she was 3 and was incredible.
"Ok, let's get this show on the road." AJ said after Donna and Carrie had returned. They all hopped in separate car's agreeing to meet up at the China Garden downtown. Howie offered Carrie a ride and she immidietly agreed. Donna smiled and opened the passenger door to AJs truck.
"So what does yours say?" Carrie asked Howie referring to his fortune cookie.
"Hmm, it says. You will meet someone new who will be with you for a few months on tour that is very pretty and she will agree to go to dinner with you tonight." He said reading the fake little peice of paper. Carrie's smile widened and everyone looked at Howie.
"Smooth D." AJ joked. Howie shrugged.
"So, would you like to join me for dinner tonight?" He finally officially asked. She agreed and AJ gave Howie props.
"What about yours AJ?" Donna asked.
"Hmmm, it says a long lost neighboor will come back to see you." He said mimicking Howie
Donna rolled her eyes and made a fake suprised look."Does it really say that AJ? Oh my Gosh, that little cookie knows everything."She said putting her hands to her face.
"Hey, don't mess with the cookie. It knows all."AJ said playfully. Soon everyone ate the food they had ordered. Howie and Carrie had went to a small corner table to talk.
"Well, us three are gonna go shoot some hoops before we have to go back, wanna come you two?"Brian asked standing up and pulling money out for a tip.
"No, thats ok B-rok. I think we can find something else to do."AJ said speaking for Donna. After they walked out, Donna turned to AJ.
So, what do you want to do?"Donna asked smiling at AJ.
"I've got an idea."He said standing up and pulling her by the hand. They waved to Howie and Carrie as they exited the building.
