A Platform Bed Built For My Son's 25th Birthday





Gluing up parts for one of the bed's legs



This view shows the back of the headboard. The mitered frame of the head-
board was put together with a combination of biscuits and pocket screws.



The black panel in the headboard is made of pine boards sanded, filled and spray painted satin finish black.

It was necessary to label the 3 platform panels because their dimensions vary slightly. They must be
positioned in the bed frame in the proper order so that each seam is centered over a bed frame crossmember.
The platform panels are made of half inch thick medium density fiberboard (mdf).
