"Jon, you're sure that us being alone here is all right?" Jessica asked as the two of them sat in Jon's den, watching movies. Jon nodded and put his arm around Jessica's shoulders.
"Of course... my parents wont be home until late" He said. With that, he pulled Jessica's face close to his and started to kiss her. Jessica hesitated for a moment, remembering what Carly had told her. She then pushed the thoughts out of her mind and kissed Jon back. After a while, Jessica pulled away and noticed that they had missed half of the movie. She pointed that out to Jon. All he did was laugh. "Aren't you much more interested in what we're doing?" He asked. Jessica didn't answer. Instead, she let Jon kiss her again.
"Hang on a minute" She said, pulling away. Jessica looked down at her watch and saw that it was 10:30 pm. She had to be home by eleven. "Jon, I have to be home by eleven, and it's ten thirty already... and it takes about fifteen minutes to walk from here to my house so we should get going soon" She said. Jon grinned at her.
"We'll just have to make the most of the time we have left wont we?" He asked. Jessica smiled and nodded, not knowing what Jon had in mind. He started to kiss her again and then Jessica felt herself being lowered gently onto the couch so that she was on her back. Jon positioned himself on top of her and one of his hands worked it's way from her waist to her chest while the other one was working on the button on her jeans. Jessica stopped kissing Jon and turned her head away.
"What are you doing?" She asked in a whisper.
"Just relax.. this wont hurt Jess" He said as he used both hands to unbutton her shirt. Jessica started to panic, realizing what Jon was about to do.
"No Jon.. stop" Jessica cried. She heard Jon's scornful laughter and she turned her head as Jon went to kiss her again. "Jon I mean it! don't!" She yelled as she tried to get out from under him.
"Shut up Jess, you know you want this! You've been sending signals to me ever since you got here, you can't just change your mind now Jess.. that isn't fair.. You're gonna get it if you want it or not!" Jon hissed in her ear. Jessica screamed as she coninued to try and wriggle out from under him. She brought her hands up to Jon's face and scratched him hard across his right cheek. He cried out in surprise and his weight lightened from Jessica. With a brust of strength Jessica pushed him off of her and she leapt up from the couch and ran out the front door, tears streaming down her face.
"Get back here bitch!" Jon yelled as he jumped up and ran after her. He stopped at his front door when he saw she had ran across the road to a park and to a group of people. He smiled to himself. "I'll have you Jessica, just you wait."
"Hey, 'dya hear that?" Jay asked, silencing the group of four boys and two girls.
"Hear what?" Zac asked.
"Shut up and listen" Jay snapped. Everyone was quiet. Then they heard it. A girl's screams. Zac stood up as he saw a young girl run out of a house and start running towards the group. Suddenly the girl flew into Zac's arm's and was holding him tightly. He looked down and saw long blonde hair. He then recognized the girls sobbs. It was Jessica. Zac had made Jessica cry enough over the years to know how she sounded when she cried.
"Jess?" He asked. In response, she cried harder and hugged him harder. "Jess! what happened?" He demanded, holding her at arm's length. It was then he saw half the buttons on her shirt were undone and her jeans were unbuttoned and unzipped. Zac's eye's widened in surprise and again, he questioned his sister on what had happened to her. "Jess. Tell me!" He cried. Jessica shook her head, unable to tell him. Amy and Tanya appeared at either side of Jessica.
"Would you feel better telling us?" Tanya asked gently. Jessica nodded. Tanya looked up at Zac. "We'll be right back" She said. Then her and Amy lead Jessica away. Zac dropped back to the ground.
"What do you think happened?" Jay asked. Zac shrugged.
"Someone did that to her, and he's gonna pay" Zac said darkly.
"How do you know it was a he?" David, one of Zac's friends questioned him.
"Did you see her?" Zac cried. "Her shirt was open and her jeans were undone!" He yelled.
"ZAC!" Amy yelled out as she ran over to him. Zac whirled around and faced her.
"What happened to her?" He demanded. Amy took a deep breath.
"Stay calm. Don't go off the deep end here ok??" She asked, she didn't give Zac a chance to reply. "You know that guy Jon Winters?" She asked. Zac shook his head.
"I do" Tyson spoke up. "He's my cousin's friend. A real sleaze"
"Yeah well, Jessica has gone on a few dates with him and tonight he tried to rape her" Amy said. Zac instantly saw red.
"Is that his house?" Zac asked Tyson, glancing at the house he had seen Jessica run out from. He nodded and Zac started to walk over there. His fist's balled up at his sides. He was gonna kick this guys ass.
"Zac! don't!" Amy called out.
"Leave him... you wont be able to stop him." Jay told her. Then the other three boy's ran to catch up to Zac.
"Where are they going?" Jessica asked as Amy walked back over to her and Tanya. Amy glanced at Tanya.
"Uh... Zac's just gonna go and basically beat the crap out of Jon" Amy replied. Jessica was silent. She felt humiliated. She sat down on the ground and began to do up her buttons on her shirt.
"Jess, this is not your fault" Tanay said, as her and Amy sat down next to Jessica.
"He said I was sending him signals that I wanted it" Jessica said.
"They all say that." Amy said.
"But what if I was?" Jessica burst out as she started to cry again. Suddenly she wished that Jaymi was there. Jaymi had been nearly raped so Jessica felt that Jaymi would know how to help her. Jessica then knew that Jaymi would be at Isaac's since it was Saturday night. "Where's Willow Street from here?" She asked, wiping away her tears.
"Uh, about two blocks away. Why?" Tanya asked.
"My brother lives on Willow Street." Jessica said. Looking up, she saw the four boy's making their way towards them. Zac looked like an angry bull.
"We couldn't get in! The damn fucker locked all the damn fucking doors!" Zac excalimed angrily, kicking a nearby tree. Jessica stood up, along with Amy and Tanya. Zac walked to Jessica and wrapped his arm's around her. "You okay?" He asked her quietly.
"I wanna go to Ike's" Jessica said. Zac nodded his ok and then turned to the others.
"I'm gonna take her to Isaac's. I'll see you guy's tomorrow or something." He said. Then he and Jessica started towards their brothers house.
