"I hate him so much Tan... why did he do this to me? I loved him so much" C.J said, wiping her eyes. It was the next day and C.J was staying the night at Tanya's.
"I really don't know C.J... I could never imagine Zac doing this... not after the way he talked about you. One night, at a party, actually.. it was the party I met Jay at, but anyway, Zac was drunk and Jay left me with him to go and get some more food... but, Zac pulled out his wallet and showed me this picture of a thirteen year old girl. 'She's the love of my life' he said to me. I remember I just smiled at him and said 'that's nice'. 'No, you don't understand... I love this girl so much and she's gone... she died' Zac said to me. I looked at him and saw the pain in his eyes... he was staring at the picture in his wallet of you. Jay came back at that moment so I couldn't say anything to Zac.. but C.J, he does love you" Tanya said.
"Is that true? or are you trying to make me feel better?" C.J asked, looking at her friend.
"It's true... I swear.... I think he's a complete and utter fuckwit but that's my opinion" Tanya said. C.J smiled.
"So what you're saying is that you don't even know if the kid is yours or not?" Jay asked. Zac shook his head.
"Nope... I got no idea. Amy said that the kid was mine but I don't know. So I've gained a kid and lost C.J.... great swap" Zac said sarcastically. The two were on their way to anywhere. They were just walking.
"Oh yeah. So C.J hate's you right?"
"Thats putting it mildly.. She hit me Jay... you think thats love?" Zac asked, facing his friend. Jay shook his head.
"Well, all I know is you fucked up bad. Can you even remember fucking Amy?" Jay asked.
"No, I don't remember.. I may have.. she says I was off my face completely. So as I said before, I don't know for sure that the kid isn't mine."
"Well, is there anyway of proving that it isn't yours before its born?". Zac shrugged.
"Dunno, but if there isn't then I'm fucked until it is born." He said. The two were silent for a few minutes.
"Hey, the store is a few blocks from here.. I have to get some smokes." Jay said. Zac just nodded, his mind on C.J.
"Hey, I know what would cheer you up.. lets go get some major munchies! I have a few good movies here and we can stay up all night, stuff ourselves till we're sick and curse ourselves tomorrow and say things like 'why did we do that? never again' knowing we'll probably do it again next week!" Tanya said, a huge smile on her face. C.J looked up at her. The girls were in Tanya's room and Tanya was trying everything she could to get C.J's mind off of Zac. This idea seemed to have worked.
"Ok, I guess we have to do something to regret tonight. Let's go." She said, standing up and grabbing her coat. Tanya's smile grew bigger.
"Great! I'll just go scab some money from Mom and let her know what we're doing. Meet me out the front.". C.J nodded and quickly ran a brush through her long hair. A few minuets later the two of them were on their way to the store, which was a few blocks from Tanya's house. Tanya was chating away, but C.J wasn't really listening to her. All she could think about was what had happened yesterday. She actually hit the boy she loved. Well, he deserved it! Sure ok, if he had slept with her before she came back, then it wouldn't have been as bad. But while she was with him? C.J still couldn't believe it. C.J was still lost in thought when her and Tanya reached the store and they walked inside. "So, what are we gonna get?" Tanya asked. C.J shrugged.
"How bout one of everything?" She suggested. Tanya laughed.
"We don't have enough for tha-". C.J noticed Tanya go quiet and she looked at her friend.
"What?" she asked, Tanya pointed to behind C.J and C.J turned around. "What do you want?" she asked nastily once she saw who was standing behind her. It was Zac and Jay. "Shopping for baby things?"
"C.J!" Tanya said.
"What? He desereves it! He got Amy pregnant, now he has to take responibility for it"
"C.J, I didn't get Amy pregnant... it didn't happen. Why wont you just listen to me?" Zac said.
"Because you are a fucking pig and I wouldn't listen to you again ever! Even if my whole fucking worthless life depended on it!" C.J yelled. She then turned and started to walk out of the store. C.J didn't know how much more of this she could take. It was going to be hard not seeing Zac because Jaymi and Kayla dated his brothers and also Carly was friends with Jessica. Zac ran after C.J.
"C.J! Wait.. we have to talk about this! You can't keep walking away from me!" Zac exclaimed, grabbing her arm to stop her. She yanked her arm out of his grip and whirled around.
"Don't you fucking touch me! Zac, I don't want to talk to you.. if you value your life you'll stay away from me.. do you understand? Amy's baby needs a daddy, and it looks like you're just the man for the job. Have a good life Zac." C.J said, turning to walk away.
"C.J no! I didn't sleep with Amy! get that into your god damn fucking head C.J! I love you! I wouldn't do something like that to hurt you! I only just got you back.. I don't want to lose you again! C.J please.. talk to me!" Zac said, pleading now. C.J looked at him. Her heart ached. She wanted more than anything in the world to take him in her arms and tell him she loved him to. But she couldn't. She didn't know if she could ever touch him again knowing he had been inside Amy.
"Zac, drop it. It's to late. Maybe, if you had just told me yourself I might have considered being friends after a while.. but Zac, Tanya told me.. then Amy did for crying out loud! I'm sorry.. but I could never forgive you for this one. You fucked up Zac.. bad." She said, truned and walked out the store. Zac hung his head. He knew that had been his last chance to get C.J to at least talk to him about it.. but she didn't. He knew she would never be his again.
