"Ike?" Jaymi murmered quietly. She rolled over onto her side and pushed on Isaac's shoulder lightly. "Ike... wake up" She said, pushing him a little harder. Isaac still didn't move. "Isaac!" She exclaimed. Isaac sat up, startled.
"Huh? what? Jaymi... you ok?"
"Yeah... I'm fine... I've just got a craving for that white chocolate with the peppermint filling" She said, turning on a lamp beside the bed. Isaac blinked in the light that filled the room
"What white chocolate with filling?" He mumbled, ready to fall back down and go right back to sleep.
"You know. It's new... I've just been thinking... and I really want some" She said. Isaac looked at the alarm clock.
"It's three am. You want me to go out and get you chocolate?". Jaymi nodded. With a sigh, Isaac flung back the bed covers and went to the closet to get a pair of jeans. Jaymi noticed his reaction.
"Fine, if you feel that way don't bother. I'll go get it myself" She exclaimed angrily, getting out of bed. She went into the bathroom and emerged a few minutes later, dressed. Isaac was dressed also. Jaymi looked him up and down. "What are you doing dressed? I told you I was going to get it myself. If the baby and I aren't that important to you Isaac Hanson then you can just get stuffed! All I did was ask you to go get me some chocolate. Is that to much to ask? I'm not blind Ike. I saw the way you got out of bed and stomped to the closet" Jaymi said, as she started to cry. She sat down on the bed with her back to Isaac.
"Jaymi, I'm sorry. Go back to bed, I'll get you your chocolate" Isaac said, not really in the mood to hear Jaymi fly off the handel at him and then start to cry. Jaymi turned around to glare at him for a few seconds and then she setteled back in bed, with her clothes on. Isaac walked over to her and kissed her forehead and then he kissed her stomach. "I'll be back soon" He said.
"Four god damn hours it took me to get that damn chocolate and when I get back she's asleep!" Isaac exclaimed to Taylor the next day at work. Taylor laughed.
"Well if you took that long to get me chocolate, I'd fall asleep to"
"Shut up Tay. She doesn't even want it anymore! I lose that much sleep and she doesn't want it. It's sitting inside the refridgerator and she told me I can't eat it incase she want's it later... all this after she throws a guilt trip on me for getting a little shitty about having to get up at three am in the god damn morning to go and get her chocolate with peppermint filling!" Isaac raved. Taylor didn't answer. Instead, he put his hand in his pocket and clasped his fingers around the small velvet box that contained Kayla's engagement ring. He knew he wanted to marry her, he just didn't know when, and how he was going to ask her. "Tay.. yo Tay... ya still with me?" Isaac asked. Taylor blinked and then nodded.
"Yeah, yeah...just thinking bout somethin...anyway, you were saying?" Taylor asked his brother. Isaac started ranting and raving once again about last nights events. Taylors mind wondered off again and this time he thouht about all the fights he and Kayla had had in the past. The thing he regretted most was when he had cheated on Kayla. It had made her heatbroken and he hated himself for it. He had begged for he forgiveness and when she gave it, he vowed to himself that he would never hurt her like that again.
"Come on! You have to come!" Coldan told Jessica. She sighed. She didn't really want to go but she knew that she would end up going weather she liked it or not so she agreed to go.
"Fine! If you want me to go that much I will... when's it on anyway?" She asked him. Coldan thought for a moment then answered.
"Umm..in about a week I think.. I'll have to ask Tyson about it and get back to you.". The two of them were in Jessica's living room and it was raining outside so they were stuck inside. Coldan had just invited Jessica to a party that his cousin, Tyson was having while his parents were out of town. Jessica had forgiven Coldan for kissing her, and now the two had agreed on having just a friendship.
"Hi guy's" Carly said, as she entered the room. Carly and Coldan had become good friends also, and now the three of them often hung out together. Jessica and Coldan greeted their friend and then the three of them fell silent.
"You wanna come to a party my cousin is having?" Coldan asked Carly. Her eye's lit up.
"Sure... when is it?"
"Next week sometime"
"You're joking" Carly exclaimed, groaning.
"What's wrong?" Jessica asked.
"Ben and I are going to visit our Mom then" She said. Jessica pulled a face.
"That sucks... I mean, it's good that you're gonna see your mom... but you can't go to the party" She said, then she turned to face Coldan. "So, it's just gonna be you and me. At the party I mean" She said. Coldan smiled and nodded.
"Did you guy's understand question seven in the Math test yesterday?" Carly asked. Both Coldan and Jessica shook their heads.
"I think it might have been a trick question cause the answer was zero anyway" Coldan said. The only class that the three of them were in together was Math.
"Yeah, that's what I got to. Man I hope I pass this test. If I don't, Dad and Julia are gonna kill me." Carly said.
"How's C.J doing? Like, do you like living with her?" Jessica asked. Carly nodded.
"Yeah, I really like C.J. And when her and Jaymi are home together it's even better. I've like got two older sisters that I thought I'd never have. I mean, I see Kayla nearly everyday but it's not the same now that she lives with Taylor." Carly said, she then realized she was rambling on. Jessica got up and dissapeared for a few minutes. She soon returned with three cans of soda. She handed two of them to Coldan and Carly. The three of them then veged out for the rest of the afternoon.
"You want me to go to a party with you?" C.J asked Amy. Amy nodded.
"Yeah. Tyson is having it and Zac will be there. I wont be surprised if he mentions it to you" She said. The two girls were walking around the mall. Bored. "Where is Zac anyway?"
"He's out with Jay and all that. I didn't really feel like being with his druggie friends." C.J said.
"You trust Zac not to do anything?"
"Yeah. You did. You were the one who made him want to quit everything" C.J said.
"You're not anrgy or anything? I mean, you know we were just friends. You were alway's the girl for Zac.... even when you were, well, gone. Hey, what do you think of Tyson?" Amy asked. C.J looked at her friend.
"He's alright... why? do you like him?"
"I guess..."
"Amy... don't give me that I guess shit. Tell me! do you like him?" C.J demanded. Amy sighed.
"Ok ok... I do! I like him... a lot!. God C.J he is so cute!" Amy cried. C.J laughed.
"Well, I'll get Zac to talk to Tyson and see if he likes you"
"I don't know..."
"Come on Amy.... you'd rather be with him than dreaming about him wouldn't you?"
"Yeah... but I know that he isn't a virgin... and I am. I don't know if I would have sex with him"
"Tyson wont push you into having sex with him. If he did, Zac would kick his ass. Zac's protective over both you and me." C.J said, surprising Amy.
"He is?"
"Hell yeah". Amy grinned, liking the idea of having a protector.
