WHILE STANDING on the parapet of Castle Bisset, my wife, Lady Laura of Buckhorn, by my side, I can easily see the results of the devastation that has been brought about by the Battle for Castle Bisset. The losses on both sides were horrendous, but the loss of Glymph the Younger has been the hardest of all to bear. Permit me to tell you of my personal loss in memorial of a fine dragon and a great friend.

Glymph was young, as dragons go, only about 200 years old. Yet he possessed the courage of any seasoned warrior dragon. While the battle for Castle Bisset was fought for other reasons, it is his story. Unknown by most before the battle, he shall remain forever in our hearts.
