AS YOU ALL may know, Bobby Hewitt, the drummer, is married to the star of the "Shane's World" movies. Now, this is important to the story of how Orgy got their name, because she is the main reason. Well, Shane came home from work (can that really be called work?) one day, after a "hard" day at the "office" and decided that she wanted to "rehearse" a few of the "scenes" with her husband, Bobby. Well, the only problem was that the script (do those things really have scripts?) called for an orgy, and it was just the two of them. Well, Bobby came up with a plan. He had been in a band for a couple of weeks with four other guys, Jay Gordon, Ryan Shuck, Amir Derakh, and Paige Haley. They didn't have a name for the band yet, but they were working on it. Well, Bobby figured, "Hey, the guys wouldn't mind helping me and my wife out for her movie!!", so he called up Jay. Ring ring. Jay answers, "Yello?" "Hey, Jay, this is Bobby." "Who?" "Bobby, the drummer in your nameless band." "Oh, yeah. Bobby. Well, what can I do you for?" "Uh, actually, it's not me I want you to do, but my wife." "Oh, really. But I might mess up my makeup." "No, I just gotta call the rest of the guys and you all come over and have an orgy with us." Well, Jay agreed, as did the rest of the guys, and soon they knocked on Bobby's door. Amir walks in. "We never did anything like this in Rough Cutt." Paige struts in. "Yeah, shut up about them already. I heard about those geeks all the way over here." Jay walks in whining. "It's muddy outside! My new clothes are all ruined!!" Bobby looks around and says, "Where's Ryan?" Ryan teeters in the doorway, obviously drunk. "Oh, so you've started the party without us?" Bobby says. "Always" he hiccups. Well, the guys get down to "business" and hands are everywhere. Bobby runs "downtown" as Paige accidentally grabs Ryan. Ryan pukes at the idea of Paige grabbing his schlong, and Shane decides, "Okay, that's enough." She makes them all get off (hmmmmmmm......I think that was the point in the first place?) and the guys decide that, all in all, this night was rather fun. So, to remember this "special occasion", they decide to name their band after it. After several un-successful names (Rearmount, The Hand-le, and Puke-O-Rama didn't work out for them), they decided to go with "Orgy". Hmmmm, that's a lot different from "We play a variety of music", now isn't it?
