The dcTalk Concert on March 11!

Hi everyone! Well, this second was a lot like the first one, but MUCH better!!!!! For so many reasons. If you're interested in knowing what they did, it was just like the first concert(see my other concert review) with like the songs and stuff. But there were more highlights to this one than the first one, and that is what I shall put on here:

The concert was in Greensboro, NC. We (me, my friend Mooga, and her sister Hannah) already knew we had 4th row seats, so we were so psyched about that. We walked in, and Mooga bought a souvenir program, which is VERY cool. Then we bought more stuff and went to go find our seats. We started making our way down and saw that there was a RUNWAY that was not at the Charlotte concert. We were thinking, "Wouldn't be too cool if our seats were right near the runway?" Well, we showed our tix to this guy and he led us to our seats. They were RIGHT BESIDE THE RUNWAY!!!!!!! We were jumping up and down literally, and screaming like nutty. We couldn't believe it! Anyway, we just hung all over it claiming it like it was ours. Then Andrew from the W's came out on stage doing some stuff and we said hi and he said hi back, or we waved or did something. Then eventually the concert did start. Oh, and the security guys were soooo much nicer than the ones in Charlotte. They said if we wanted to we could get up in the very front, but we didn't because we had our RUNWAY. And the concert wasn't quite as loud as the Charlotte one, which was good. The concert itself was pretty much the same as I said, and it rocked completely!! The concert of all concerts! During it, Toby, Mike, and Kevin each got my hand when they were passing by on the RUNWAY. Their praise part was done at the end of the RUNWAY, and we couldn't see it too well, so everyone in our area started sitting on the runway, and we about got in Kevin's way. Then the guards did make us come down, which is kinda understandable. Also, Kevin changed clothes like five times, and his hair was a little more spiky than in Charlotte. He first came out in a suit, then a short-sleeve shirt, then a tank top, but the real kick was the leopard shirt. It was funny. Toby changed a couple of times. I hope I got some good pics during the concert. I know Mooga did...they are on her webpage. Anyway, those were the main highlights of the concert that didn't occur at the Charlotte one. But that's not all! Afterwards we made our way out in the main lobbyish area, walking near the restrooms, and there was Andrew from the W's just standing beside the restroom entrance, so we started talking to him, with Mooga and Hannah doing more of the talking. We'd caught him picking his nose, so he was apologizing or something. It was kinda funny. Then this guard comes up and tells us to clear the building. So we left Andrew and went outside. We had seen earlier where the buses were, so we started making our way over there. It was a long walk, and it was so cold. We found the buses...there was NO GATE this time!! We could just walk right up. There were no other groups of people around, which was weird. We kept getting closer and closer, feeling like we were doing something illegal, but the security people that passed us just said hi and kept going, so we figured we were fine. We saw Jason Halbert go on the bus, then the W's. We eventually crossed over to the buses and were just a couple of feet in front of them. Then we waited, and waited, and slowly began to lose feeling in our hands and feet. Then another group came over and waited with us. We had to run around in circles to keep our circulation going. Ha ha. We saw Sugar Bear, and Mark come out. We saw Guido, dct's road pastor. Then we saw this hand waving to us from the W's bus. We couldn't figure out who it was. Then Andrew came out (it was him) and hung with us for like half an hour or something. He had a yo-yo and was showing off, and just talking with us. It was really cool! Then he got too cold and went back in their bus. We kept waiting, oh, and Kevin had come out of the arena during then, and said he'd be back out as soon as he changed clothes. We waited and waited some more. We got into a huddle to get warm, and Michael makes his way towards the bus. He asked if we needed autographs. Then he stayed out for awhile, and I guess Kevin saw him, and came out too. Kevin had been talking with his wife. So we got our picture made with him, and then got our picture made with Michael too!!!! It was so completely groovy!! Then Kevin went back inside and Michael was still out there. He asked us if we were waiting on Toby, and we said yes. He said in an accent that he would be coming out in a minute the same way he had come out. Pretty much right after he said that, Toby was walking out from the arena. He said he'd be right out after he put on a jacket. He said, "I thought this was North Carolina!" For mid-March, it was extremely cold. I thought I'd get frost bite, and I only had a jacket on over a short-sleeve shirt. Not good. But anyway, then he didn't come out right away, and we were about to lose all body heat, then Michael saw us, and gets up on the front of the bus to peek in the window, gets Toby's attention, and motions for him to come out. Toby comes to the window holding a pizza pocket thingie, showing that he was eating, but he came out anyway. He signed our stuff, and then we got a picture with him too! His pizza almost got in my face, and he noticed that and kinda moved it. Then he stayed out a little bit more and went back inside. Michael I think was still out there. After that, we knew we had to leave, although we could've stayed there for hours more. We had to get warm though. So we began our loooooooong trek back to the car, frozen solid, but still absolutely freaked-out excited!!!! We couldn't believe what had just happened!! And you know what? I still can't believe it! Anyway, that was the extremely detailed dc Talk concert. I will hopefully have pics on here relatively soon!
