Southern Women's Words Quarterly Zine Info

Southern Women's Words Quarterly, ISSN 1081- 6151, will resume publication Spring 2000 after a 3 year absence. SWWQ is a quarterly zine of poetry and short stories for southern women. Submissions are now being accepted. Please send to address below. No electronic submissions. Authors must own all rights to their works. Stories no longer than 1000 words and poetry no longer than 30 lines will only be considered. Submissions must be relevant to southern women's experiences and have some social significance. Payment is one copy on publication. SWWQ is copyrighted by DeeMar Communications as a compilation; however, authors retain rights to their individual works. Enclose an SASE with all correspondences.

SWWQ is a paperback zine that has been distributed to individuals and institutions across the USA. Many women's studies programs received copies of SWWQ. Subscription rates have yet to be established but probably will run $4.00/copy. More info will be available as submissions come in to us. It is our hope to have more interest in this zine and wider exposure.
