My Websites: My Homepage

Favorite movie: Lord of the Rings, Moulin Rouge, A Life Less Ordinary, Star Trek, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen Of the Desert, The Lion King, Star Wars, Rob Roy, just about any Ewan McGregor and Johnny Depp

Movie that scares the hell out of me: Titanic, but not just for the reason you think

Favorite Music: U2, Def Leppard, John Tams, Clay Aiken, Moby, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Tom Petty, Loreena McKennitt

Music that scares the hell out of me: Eminem (for the reasons you think)

Favorite TV (still on the air): Boston Legal, Bones, the Simpsons

Favorite TV (no longer being made): Star Trek (original series), Queer As Folk, Angel, Whose Line Is It Anyway? (British and American), Star Trek: Enterprise, the Lone Gunmen (RIP), Buffy, the Sharpe series (which could technically be movies as well), Drive, Raines, the X-Files (through season 7), MacGyver, Quantum Leap

TV that scares the hell out of me: Most reality- Really, it's getting old. I watched Survivor (though that was mostly for Rupert), and I was addicted to American Idol, thanks to our homeboy Clay. But as a whole, the genre is tired and embarrassing.

Favorite actors/actresses: Ewan McGregor, Johnny Depp, David Wenham, Hugo Weaving, Eric Bana, Liam Neeson, Orlando Bloom, Gary Oldman, David Boreanaz, Sean Bean, Viggo Mortensen

Favorite Book: too many, but I'm partial to "The Lord of the Rings." Also "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey." All the Harry Potter books, especially "The Prisoner of Azkaban."

First Sci-Fi/Fantasy book read: "The Kestrel" by Lloyd Alexander in 8th grade. (The Westmark trilogy is excellent, by the way.)

Favorite Reference Book: Two right now- "British/American Language Dictionary: For more effective communication between Americans and Britons" and "The Scots Dialect Dictionary" (I had trouble with some of the definitions in this one. Then I realized it was published in Britain. I mean, what do "hoozling- a severe drubbing" and "lyrie- the pogge" mean anyway?)

Favorite Art Period: Art Nouveau

Favorite Artists: Alphonse Mucha, Toulouse-Lautrec, Maxfield Parrish

Favorite Sports Team: Carolina Hurricanes, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox

Favorite Food(s): cheese, spinach, vegetarian riblets courtesy of Gardenburger, "Mushrooms!"

Favorite Cracker: the Triscuit

Favorite City: Boston

Favorite African Mammal: the meerkat

Bad Habits: too much caffeine, too many chips, some procrastination, sitting in front of the computer

Fave quote: too many, but- "All you need is love" and "I don't think a nun would say that about a hill."
