For spring break of '98 I was lucky enough to go to New York with my friend, Michele. Michele is from Parksville, NY about 2 hours north of NYC. Not only did we hang out in her hometown, but we also made trips to NYC and Boston. It was an awesome trip!

This is in the back of Michele's house the day after it had snowed. This is the first time that I had ridden a 4-wheeler and now I can't wait to do it again! We also got to go snowmobiling... Ya gotta love the second pic. This is me and Michele at our finest!

This is in the back of Michele's house again. Being from NC, I don't see too much snow so I was glad I got to see even a little of the white stuff. You can kind of see how we tore the yard up a little, but hey, it was more than worth it!

We left Parksville, NY at about 4 am one morning to head to NYC before rush hour. Here we are driving onto the George Washington Bridge right as the sun was rising. It was absolutely beautiful to literally watch the city come to life. I really do love New York...

Here we are in a little cafe in the City waiting on some of our friends to meet us. Since they were just a LITTLE late, we really got to know the waiter pretty well. Here Lori is posing with the waiter holding the glass of juice that he gave her for free. What a guy! You had to be there to know how cool this guy was...

The pictures above are of the four of us that went to NYC. It's me, Michele, Missy, and Lori.... and we can't forget about MARAT. Marat was lucky enough to get to chill with us for the whole day and show us around!!! Hehe... No, he was a wonderful tour guide...

Here we are at Times Square! It was SOOO weird to actually be there! But I'm mad cause I didn't get to see Carson Daily in the MTV studio... I did see the studio though (ok, it was only from the outside).

We had a little car trouble in Brooklyn (ok... we had a LOT of car trouble) so here we are waiting for this nice (although he was trying to rip us off) guy to fix our car.

The pic to the left is me with the waiter we had at the Japanese Steakhouse we went to in Brooklyn. He was an absolute trip... You gotta admire anyone with "great balls of fire"!

NOW THIS IS THE PIC YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!!

This is Altug, Bart, and Marat. They showed us around NYC and Brooklyn. We love the antennae (not to mention the bottle of wine), Marat!!!!

In Boston with "my car". We went to Boston to pick up Michele's friend, Vid, from Tufts University for the start of her spring break. It was a lot of fun, but VERY different from ECU!

This is Vidushi, me, Michele, and Ian in BOSTON at Tufts University, where Vidushi goes to school. What an interesting trip!!

Long Live Beeto and Guido!

Here I am with Michele and Ian in Vidushi's room at Tufts University in Boston. Boston was a lot of fun, but the ride home wasn't. First of all, I can't drive a Jeep cause it blows all over the road (ok-- maybe I just can't drive period!), and I really can't drive long distances without a cruise control. I kinda lose track of speed and pass cops going a wee bit too fast. But it's all good, cause Michele knows all the cops and I got off!! We got skilz :)~

Right is Michele's family and I right before we left NY to go back to school. We're at Stewart Air Force Base waiting to board our plane that was the size of my freakin pinky!

To the left I am in Philadelphia where we had a 2 hour layover on our trip back to school. We had to find some way to amuse ourselves, so we rode around on the little conveyor-belt thingies. It was... interesting!
