During spring break of 1998 I went to London and Paris with a group of about 40 other Teaching Fellows. This was my frist trip outside of the United States. Enjoy the pics...

The Eiffel Tower is of course the most famous sightseeing spot in Paris. When I was there, I hate to say, there was this tacky sign on it that was (and still is) counting down to the year 2000. It was still really cool to see though. There is nothing like the view from the top... You can see the WHOLE city from there.

Notre Dame was really impressive to me. Inside is even more amazing than the outside, except for all the tourists running around taking pics of everything... but I guess I was one of those too so I can't really talk!

There is no word to describe this place. It almost seems like it is its own city. This pic does not even begin to show all that was there. There are tons of beautiful gardens surrounding the entire palace... It amazed me to think that any one family ever had enough money and power to live in a place like that!

Paris is famous for its desserts.. and here's why!

These are my friends, Karen and Jackie, who I spent most of my time with on the trip.
