“Kim, you look great, just calm down the show should be starting soon”. About 5 minutes passed and all the girls in the venue started screaming: “BACKSTREET BOYS, BACKSTREET BOYS” this went on for another 10 minutes. Amanda was just sitting there, waiting for the concert to start, when the lights started to dim. The girls screamed louder, and even louder when the boys came on stage. As they were singing Amanda couldn’t help but scream. Her eyes were following Nicks every move.
*Man, he really is cute....wait what am I saying?? I don’t like him, Kim does!! I cant go after some teen heart throb, and why would a guy like him go after a girl like me?* Amanda thought to herself.
As the concert went on Kim watched Amanda just watching Nick, Nick and Amanda made eye contact every once in a while. Kim was a little jealous. She wasn’t use to not getting the guy, and Amanda didn’t know anything about Nick or the Backstreet Boys, and Kim has been a obsessive fan for over 2 and 1/2 years.
It was time for their solos. Just as Nick walked on stage, Amanda started to get butterflies in her stomach. She couldn’t believe the way she was acting. She had never felt this way about a guy before. She knew she should stop because the chances of her meeting Nick again never the less hooking up with him were very slim, but she couldn’t help it. As Nick sang his solo he was watching Amanda the whole time. As Kim just stood there with a huge smile on her face thinking he was looking at her.
“I need you tonight I need you right now I know deep within my heart It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right... All those endless times we tried to make it last forever more And baby I know I need you I know deep within my heart It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right I really need you” Nick sang moving up to Amanda, taking her hand and singing right to her. Amanda just looked deep into his beautiful blue eyes. As Nick finished up the song he motioned for Amanda to look down at her hands. There were two backstage passes lying in her hands, she smiled up at him, as he motioned for her to go back. Amanda took Kim’s arm and told her to come with her, as Kim yelled at her.
“Amanda, where the hell are we going? I wanted to watch the concert!!!”
“Kim just follow me trust me you’ll be happy you came!!”
“No I’m going back!!” Kim yelled as she turned around
“Ok, I’ll be going backstage then by myself” Amanda said with a smile
“What your such a liar!! where the hell did you get backstage passes?”
“It dosen’t matter, lets go”
“no tell me, come on” Kim begged
“alright, I got them from Nick....”she started as Kim’s face dropped “for a birthday present for you” Amanda lied, hoping her friend would cheer up
“really?”
“yeah, lets go”. As they walked backstage it was chaotic, people running around, making sure they boys outfits are good, that the next songs special effects are ready, their microphones were working, just making sure everything was perfect. Amanda spotted Nick but saw he was busy and didn’t want to interrupt him, but she wanted him to know that her and Kim came back.
“Uh, Nick” She said as she just waved Nick run over to her,
“Hey, I’m so glad you came back” He said with a smile
“Amanda! Kim!! Hey girls, how do you like the concert?” AJ asked interrupting Nick and Amanda’s conversation
“Oh my god you remember my name?” Kim asked
“how could I forget?” AJ smiled
“the concerts great so far!!” Amanda said
“thanks, but we gotta get on so you two can just hang out here, and we’ll catch up with you later” Nick said looking at two chairs that he brought out for them two, so they could sit
“thanks, and good luck on your next song” Amanda said as Nick went up and hugged her. At first she wasn’t sure how to react, she was a little hesitant at first then hugged him back. Kim just watched with a fake smile on her face. As the boys went on stage they could hear the screams of all the girls.
