Well ladies and gentelman we recieved some sad ass news yesterday. Brandon, decided to drop out of Standpoint. He decided to leave right before we have a big show, thanx brandon. So now the official line up is only John, Tony, and Ryan. The new trio will still tear it up so don't worry about that. And don't forget come out to Skunk-a-rific on April 12 to cheer Standpoint on!

Well we finally changed our name! We now call ourselves STANDPOINT. Therefore, due to these changes many changes will be occuring to this site, or we might make up a whole new site all together, we'll see. If we do come up with a new website though we'll get the word out to our fans and people to let them know where to go to get info on us. Later.

Well unfortunatly Train of Thought didn't receive their rightfull place of 1st in the Battle of the Bands. But we want to give them a shout out for making it as far as they did. TOT kicks ass! Now onto our story. Our two new songs Turn Away and Free Man are coming along rather nicely. Make sure you check out the lyrics for them (that way if you see us when we play our next show you can sing along) Next time we practice we should be laying down a ghetto recording of Just Go Away finally so look for that being added to the Tunes section so you can feast your little ears on something new. Yo! If you noticed we added a links page, we were all dumb and forgot it when we started. So now most of the links that was on the Fan Club site are now on our site! Hey everyone! Just to get you updated. Well we've been in the mystical practice area called John's basement for the past 2 weeks and we've pulled out one song, Turn Away, that needs just tinkering done to it and we've started work on 2 new things we are doing and working on a new song. For those that did not know already, Slamline did not advance to the finals....:(....but Train of Thought did! Congrats to TOT for making it! 3 of the 4 Cellmates were present at the venue, we saw many many friends. Thanks for supporting local music! Well keep coming back about once a week cause we are picking up in the practices and we should have some dates for upcomming preformances! Thats all later!

Well nothing new on the site today but we do have news. We would like to wish the best of luck to fellow band's Train of Thought and Slamline on their semi-final round of the local battle of the bands down here! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN! Today was John's real birthday. Today we continued working on new material. Well today we ended the poll for our new band name. Today at John's 17th B-day party...by the way HAPPY B-DAY John!....we announced the new name. Drum roll please! ::drum roll noise:: We decided to go with .... and a blank is still there. There are still some debates within the cell as of right now but soon we will reach a final conclusion. Anyway....So in the near future our web site will occure MAJOR updating and everything when we switch. We thank all the fans for giving us your input on the whole subject....maybe someday we'll do another poll for something else we can't make up our mind about? Well keep it all real! Laterz!

Well today was the faithful day, this afternoon about 2:45 P.M. Eastern, SaDiSTiC CeLL was denied by a bunch of hypricrates! We will not be preforming in the talent show. Instead we will work hard on getting something together for the fans who gave their hearts out to help us durring the tryouts. We'll keep our heads up and we hope you guys will do the same, until the next time enjoy the holidays!
