SaDiSTiC CeLL Steps It Up

We show up in the school auditorium, neverous but feelin' good. While people try out we are setting up our instruments and set for the try out. Lots of people have very good talents but no bands yet, lots of soloists. So then our principal says you guys are on next. Our nerves suddenly shut off. Its show time! We set up and get ready to play My Own Summer. We play but one problem has arisen, Tony, who was on vocals, wasn't loud enough! Well she said for him to just sing by himself so he did and then she said is there a song you guys can play that kinda is different then out from the crowd our fans, yell in unison, DRAG YOU DOWN! Thanks guys for showing up! She said really can you guys play that real quick. We said sure and played it. She loved it! Our fans went nuts! You guys saved our show! That is true fan dedication at its greatest! We will know on friday what spot we have if we get one, but we are very sure we got one. Now to the fans, you guys need to buy tickets out the wild-zoo! Buy them and sell them to your friends and tell them to see us! That is how we will win the show! We'll keep you posted in the coming days with what happens. Thanks to our fans you guys made it happen for us! Keep up the faith!

Well SaDiSTiC CeLL plugs in at another party. This time drummer boy John hooked us up with the party. Thanx goes out to John's family for putting up with hell from all of us! Anyway....we started with initial set up and practices on Wednesday (11-20). We practiced many hours from then till the show....then the day came for us to perform! We scheduled the show to start at eight but like any other band we had some technical difficulties and we had to start a little late. But we moved past all of them and people gathered down in John's basement. Then we open with "Just Go Away". Ryan comes down from the steps while hitting Lisa in the head with the mic cord, I'm SORRY! That song went smoothly. What a way to open. Then we moved on to "My Own Summer", originally recorded by Deftones, which Ryan moved to his instrument the bass and Tony caught up the vocals. That song when through pretty good too. Then once the lights come back we get ready for "In Bloom", originally recorded by Nirvana, which we kinda took forever to play but its all good. We all got into the mood and then here came the closer. "Drag You Down", originally recorded by Finger Eleven", John took up vocals and we thrashed it out. Everyone love the closer! They were begging for an encore so John decided to bust out with a song that he wrote himself called "None Of This Is New". Everybody loved it. Well that was about the whole show in a bottle. We want to thank everybody that was there and thanx to everybody that helped especially Amber with the lights, and to Julie, we all missed you! Where will SaDiSTiC CeLL travel to next? Who's party will be enlightened next? We will all soon find out!

We were going to have a show on the 6th but unfortunately we had to cancel. We were unsure about all the details and it came down to us not knowing until it was to late. Another problem was that we didn't have enough material for the show.. so therefore the conclusion came to be no show.

During the summer our bassist Ryan decided to have party. One reason for this was to get together and have a bash with our friends but the main method to this maddness to was introduce our band. This was our first show. There weren't that many people there only about 13 but it was still kewl nonetheless. We did a four song, twenty minute set. Afterwards we signed some autographs and gave some shit away as door prizes. All and all it went well for our first show. Hopefully there are more to come. Peace. -John
