Day 1: Sunday April 6th - elapsed travel time: 8 hours: 12:30pm:: Meet at school, load luggage.
1:00pm:: Board bus and depart for Toronto Pearson International Airport(Terminal #3)
2:15pm:: Arive and unload luggage
2:30pm::Meet tour manager, Brian Fry. Check in at Czech Airlines counter(terminal #3) to check luggage and recive boarding cards.
5:30pm Scheduled departure via Czech Airlines flight 103 non-stop to Prauge Ruzyne. luggage will be checked directly through to Munich. Dinner served in flight.
Day 2: Monday April 7 - to Munich - Elapsed Travel time: 1 hour/5 minutes:
In flight Breakfast.
7:30am: arival into Prauge Ruzyne Airport, Change Czech Aircraft.
12:55pm Depart on Czech Republic flight #558 to Munich International Airport.
2:00pm:arival at Munich International Airport. Collect luggage, clear customs, meet 32 seater "Binder-Reisen" deluxe highway motorcoach.
3:00pm:Board coach, proceed to Munich city center.
4:00pm: Meet tour guide Gudrun Mountain for 2 hour city tour of Munich.
6:00pm: Get on bus, go to Hotel Carmen
6:30pm: Check in to Hotel Carmen
7:30pm: Dinner at hotel (traditional German Schnitzel)
Day 3: Tuesday April 8th - Dachau, and Fussen(Neuschwanstein Castle)
7:00am: Buffet breakfast at hotel
8:00am: Board coach, depart Munich for Dachau(1 hour travel time)
9:00am: Arive at former Dachau Concentration Camp, now a memorial site and museum for a self guided tour.
11:00am: Depart Dachau for Hohenshwangau, Germany. Eat lunch and retrive group tickets for tour of castle.
*Because Bri Fry is a Douche bag, there was no bus for us to ride up the mountain to the castle.. so we walked*
4:20pm: 35 minute guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle,
4:55pm: no mini bus to take down, so we took horse and buggie type thing down to bottom.
5:15pm: Transfer into Fussenm purchace dinner.
6:30pm: Meet together and depart to "Music Theatre Neuschwanstein"
6:45pm: Recive tickets from Bri Fry.
7:30pm: Watch "Ludwig II Musical~Longing for Paradise"
9:30pm: 35 minute intermission!
10:30pm Board coach, return to Munich (approx 2 hour travel time)
12:30am: Estimated arival at Munich hotel.
Day 4: Wednesday April 9th - To Salzburg, AND MY BIRTHDAY!
8:00am: Buffet breakfast at Hotel Carmen. Check out and board coach, depart Munich for Salzburg(approx 3 hour travel time)
1:15pm: Arive at Salzbergwerk Salt Mine located in Berchtesgaden(about 20 minutes south of Salzburg)
1:30pm:1 1/2 hour guided tour of the in mountain salt mines, with downhill slides, dark tunnels etc.
3:30pm: Continue to Salzburg
4:00pm:Arive in Salzburg, check into Hotel Turnerwirt.
5:30pm: Dinner in Hotel.
6:45pm: Board Coach, depart to Salzburg city center
7:30pm: Meet tour guide Veronika Klausecker for 2 hour guided walking tour of Salzburg.
9:30pm: Back to hotel for sleep.
Day 5: Thursday April 10th - Salzburg
7:00am: buffet Breakfast at hotel
8:00am Board coach and meet Veronika Klausecker again, for the 4 hour "Sound of Music Tour" See stuff from the movie, and story of the von Trapp family.
12:30pm: Finish tour in Salzburg city center. Free time for rest of day/evening.
Day 6: Friday April 11th - To Vienna.
7:30am: buffet Breakfast in hotel.
8:30am: board coach, depart Salzburg for Vienna.
10:30am: Morning stop in Steyr for lunch, some free time..
12:30pm Board coach, arive at Melk (Stift Melk) "perched on a rocky bluff over looking Danubem and offers the finest examles of Baroque architecture in austria"
1:45pm: Arive infront of Melk Abbey
2:05pm: 1 hour guided tour of Melk Abbey
3:05pm: Board Coach, continue to vienna
4:00pm: Arival in Vienna
4:30pm:Check into Hotel Ibis for the last 2 night.
6:45pm: Go to Einstein Restaurant
7:30pm: enjoy final farewell dinner, as we attend a concet the next evening.
9:30pm: after dinner, arive back at hotel... and...Sleep...(like that happned.. to find out more go to "Friday April 11th picture section")
Day 7: Saturday April 12 - Vienna
8:00am: Buffet breakfast at hotel
9:00am: Professional 4 hour tour of Vienna
1:00pm: Return to city center for lunch , and free time.
4:30pm:Transfer back to Hotel Ibis, Change for concert.
6:00pm: Dinner in hotel
7:00pm: board coach, depart for Hofburg Palace
7:45pm: Proceed to Redoutensaal inside Hofburg Palace where the concert will take place. Open seating, arive early to get good seats.
8:30pm: Evening J. Strauss - W.A. Mozart Concert at Hofburg Palace, featuring the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra.
10:00pm: go back to hotel.
Day 8: Sunday April 13th - Home
6:00am: Buffet breakfast at hotel
7:00am: Board Coach, Transfer to Vienna Airport,
7:55am: Arive at Vienna Airport (Terminal B) Recive boarding card.
10:55am:Scheduled flight via Czech Airlines flight #605 from Vienna to Prague
11:50am:arive at Prauge Ruzyne , change Czech aircraft
1:00pm: Scheduled flight Via Czech Airlines flight #102 non-stop from Prague to Pearson International
4:00pm: estimated arival at Pearson (terminal #3
5:00pm: Board bus and depart to Newmarket
6:00pm: Estimated Arival back at school.
