Its DONE!!!!

Finally the last pictures are up.

I've played a couple of gigs and multiple practices with the band since completing the bass. I gotta say its working out great. I love it. Its definitely heavier than my Koa bass, but after a couple of weeks I was used to it.

It took a while to get used to how bright this bass is. I had to start over again with my amp (all controls set flat) and work my way up from there. I'm just about satisfied with what I'm hearing. I can't really say if the brightness is caused by the walnut, or if its just Carvin's new active electronics. Its definitely cuts through better than the koa one did.

Anyone who is considering making a bass - I highly recommend it. Its a very rewarding experience.
