What an icky day today. I woke up grudgingly at 7:30 AM and had to rush in order to catch the damn bus. God do I hate public transportation. The screaming children, the ignorant people that get in your way, and the loud and obnoxious adolescents are enough to make me want to commit acts of insanity. Anyway, as usual, work SUCKED. People suck. Yeah, did I mention that I'm a misanthropist?
People really irritate me when their eyes remain fixated on me for any more than a mere glance...you see; I'm considered by label lovers a "goth". I know no other colour than black, I listen to seldom heard of bands such as "The Gathering" and "Dimmu Borgir", I write poetry, I'm moody, I'm pale, I wear dark make-up..yadda yadda yadda. Honestly, that's just me being me, I fell into that stereotype quite unintentionally, but, I've been called worse. So, needless to say, with it being 25 celcius outside and having no cloud cover, I was a roasted goth. Black is no good for keeping cool, and my pants were perma pasted into my butt crack. Ick. How's that for a mental image?
Anyway, aside from my minor ails, things are alright. My boyfriend picked up our 6th snake last night. We named him Wesley (we have a female of the same species named Buttercup..it's so cheesy it's funny...for those who don't grasp the reference...see "The Princess Bride"), he's a 1 month old Kenyan Sand Boa. My others are Anubis a Male Common Boa Constrictor, Trinity a Female Miami Phase Corn Snake; and her counterparts Neo and Morpheus both male Common Corn Snakes. Now, if you didn't get the theme for my Corn Snakes, then you are truely sheltered.
Well, enough of my ranting, I have to save some of this energy for more of these.
