Well, actually, a more correct title would be “SORT OF NOT ::KOFF:: REALLY ASKED QUESTIONS” on account of the fact that, despite my nearly two-hundred hits, NO ONE has emailed me about my site. I have recieved neither feedback, nor questions ::ACHEM!!! nudgenudgehinthint:: regarding my pit of insanity, but such a thing I would truly truly appreciate! Anyhoo, I made this list based on what people have asked me, like to my face, regarding my artwork, and if you have questions that are not answered thru this list and you are too much of a lazy pekingese to email me, well, deal with it. So, um yeah, here goes...

DO YOU USE A COMPUTER TO HELP YOU?
Nah, Me no likie CG. I have nothing against people who do their work on the comp. I just prefer to work with myself and myself alone (not to mention I’m a complete and utter baloney-for-brains goof when it comes to technical stuff). I wouldn’t be happy knowing I didn’t really do everything myself. And no I’m not calling you CG-artists out there lazy...oh blarg, I’d better close my trap before I say anything else impudent. I shut up now.

DO YOU TRACE?
Hell no...Tracing to me is blashphemy. I would feel like I was cheating myself. And I would never improve unless I tackled the things on my own. Sure I’ll look at another pic to help with a pose or sumthin’, but the paper that I draw on and the paper I look off of remain seperate and never do they overlap on MY drawing table.
DID YOU TAKE CLASSES FOR THIS?
Naw...I started drawing anime when I was in sixth grade, and I trained myself how to talk the talk and walk the walk the japanese way. As one can imagine, my styles have really changed over the years, with the diff series I’ve emulated. I started with Sailor Moon, then went on to Studio Ghibli, then to Pokemon, then to Digimon, and finally, Sorcerer Hunters set me on the right track. I am now happy with what I do because it looks at least half decent, because I’m drawing characters that are at least quasi-proporttional. Um yeah. But to tell yuo the truth, I don’t think I could get classes even if I wanted them. Anime is not very well respected in the world of sophisticated art, at least where I come from. My teachers don’t approve, my parents no likie...about the only ones who like my art are my peeps.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DRAWING ANIME?
I started in sixth grade, and I’ll be going into tenth after this summer, so about four years, but anime has been with me all my life, to tell you the truth. I think the first time I ever beheld these beautious cartoons was when I was about three, and mum brought home a cassette that my grandmama had taped for me, labeled “UNICO ON MAGIC ISLAND.” Unfortunately, that wonderful tape is nowhere to be found these days. Oh, and if anyone has SEA PRINCE AND THE FIRE CHILD that they can copy for me, I’d REALLY jump outta my striped toe-socks, so please, LET ME KNOW. I haven’t seen that movie in years and it was one of my faves...waaaah...
DO YOU DO ORIGINAL CHARACTERS?
Not very often, but right now, I’m working on an original series called “Peacenik Pink” and it’s about a trio of hippy-alien-people. The main character is a young tantulette named Pink. He’s a cross-dresser, and he is the owner of the wonderous bondage pants with the enchanted pockets. Anything can fit in his pockets. And Pink makes use of them for carrying an enormous rawhide mallet which he frequently uses on another chara, Landfish. Landfish is a cute little alien who looks kinda like a guinea pig with an overbite, webbed feet and a mermaid tail. He speaks only in trills, beeps, and squeaks and can be converted to a raft when flattened by Pink’s trusty mallet. The last of the trio is by far the strangest. A Scroavar mage by the name of WeYappari Moobulus Grasv, referred to commonly as “Mooby”. Mooby has a small problem...when ever he sneezes, he changes genders. The male Mooby is an amber-eyed black and white penguin looking guy, and the female is a blond blue-eyed bimbo with endearing curls. Mooby and Pink are from the two races (the tantulettes and the scroavars) that are feuding against eachother, but their friendship and determination are there arsenal for this war. Though it may be more than just friendship. There’s going be something ELSE going on between these two eventually ::snigger::
DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS?
Well, now that depends, my pretty ones. It depends on the request. If it aint cute, and it aint Yaoi/Shounen Ai, or travestite-ish, I won’t have any motivation to do it. And I can only take so many at a time. It also depends on how busy I am, how much sleep I’ve had, and how many bowls of sherbet I have ingested. But sure, I do requests. To quote dear Frankie-Chan from Rocky Horror Picture Show: “You’ll find that when the mood takes me...I can be QUITE...Generous...” oh, but let us get one thing clear RIGHT NOW:
I DON’T DO NO FRIGGEN MARY SUE!
Sorry peeps, but no I will NOT draw you kissing Carrot or you holding Chocolate in a warm and passionate embrace. I don’t do Mary Sues unless they are WELL MERITED! That means, like with my real life friends. But even then, I avoid doing the wretched things as much as possible and even if I do think Marron is a hot sexy guy-chick that I wish to whatever gods are up there really existed, you don’t see ME flinging myself on him in my art. I just did the Sailor Marron with me coz it was funny, methought. That goes for fanfiction too. I don’t make myself into a Spoonerian and make everyone fall in love with me. Lemme just tell you right now, Mary Sues are (for the most part) ugly things that people other than the authors of the fics themselves have no interest in reading! The only good Mary Sue I have ever read is Gaikokujin by Yaeko, because she has such incredible writing talent. And to Rei because she’s just so nate-great...Even then, I kinda get a worm-squirm in the tummy when I read a certain part of it...even if I do kindasortanotreally get mine, I still can’t help but think about Gateau and, oh never mind, I is ambling again. Look, what I really wanna say is that, for 99.999999999% of the time, MARY SUES MUST DIE! WHAAARGH!!!!! Sorry if this offends any of youse out there but I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks this. Ask anyone you’d like, and you will seeeeeeeeee...
WHY YAOI?
First of all, lemme tell you something. I’ve been through the web reeading fanfics for almost any series imaginable (or at least the ones I’ve seen of course), both straight and...um...bent? Anyway, I’ve seen a lot. And there is something about two guys in a relatioship that is just so much sweeter...it defies that whole macho-dominance, me-tarzan-you-jane genre that we see all too often in today’s world. When two guys are together, and they feel things for eachother, the way they throw down the bold, manly front and show their true colors is just so moving. It’s like they are saying “I’ve had enough of pride, man!” and they’re just letting it go...” My very first Yaoi couple was Taito (Taichi x Yamato :Digimon:) and I just found the whole thing so endearing that it opened up a whole new door in my life. I’ve become a much more open-minded and sensitive person, plus I’ve learned a few things about myself along the way ^_-
