AAARRGH! I don't know how I'm gonna survive until November without seeing Disneys new Classic, Tarzan, when everyone else seems to have seen it already! Reading the reviews, comments and articles about the succes, this movie has achieved, is killing me, so I've decided to stop torturing myself and I refuse to read anything about this masterpiece anymore... Not only is this one of the most original Classics that Disney has ever made, but it's also the first animated feature to use the new background computer effect called "Deep Canvas", which of course was developed especially for Tarzan and the jungle enviroment. It should be nothing less than perfect, the very top of animation today, so I don't think it's too much to say, even without having seen it yet, that Tarzan is up for the 2nd Academy Award nomination for Best Picture ever to be given an animated movie, only "beaten" by Disneys (of course) the Beauty and the Beast that received the first one 7 years ago..... Tarzan is the classic tale of a baby boy, orphaned after a plane accident (ship in this case, when both his parents are killed by the tiger, Sabor), who's brought up in the jungle by a gorilla named Kala (which means FISH in Finnish, LOL!). He grows up believing that the jungle is his home and the gorillas his family, until the day when he meets a human being for the first time. He meets the beautiful Jane and her father, Porter's, expedition team, and finally Tarzan have to make the ultimate decision: Does he want to Stay with the foster family that brought him up, or will he leave them for his own kind, these strange humans that look like him but act so different? Is he ready to leave his home and his mother, Kala, to be with Jane? The pictures we've seen so far are absolutely fabulous. I've been collecting over two hundred images and stills from the movie, and have finally been able to add them all to my Disney Dedication. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do. Even though I made thumbnails to reduce The downloading time, it still takes time to view that many images, but they're worth waiting for... Here you can watch the TRAILER of Tarzan And here you can hear a little piece of Phil Collins, who made the music to Tarzan, which surprisingly won't be much of a musical..... |
