Our Education President? KIDS LEFT BEHIND! N.Y. Times Editorial by Bob Hebert.
First, I want you Democrats to VOTE in online polls! MSNBC reported, "Republicans are far more likely than Democrats to participate in online surveys...The Republican tendency to go online for political news tilts the makeup of those online survey respondents heavily toward the GOP!"
Now, It's time for regime change here in America! After eight years of peace and prosperity, the largest surplus in U.S. history, (That's right! Just read "President Clinton Announces Another Record Budget Surplus")is now a triple digit deficit, we have preemptively waged war against Iraq without the U.N. and without the support of our allies, Bin-Laden is still out there, under Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld and the rest, we are being kept in the dark and our rights are slowly being stripped away, our economy is a mess, we have corporate scandals and workers who have lost their jobs and their pensions because of corporate greed, Veterans have lost their benefits after the Congress cut 25 Billion Dollars out of the budget, low unemployment is now obscenely high unemployment, reduced government under Clinton-Gore is now bigger government under Bush, we have a shaky stock market, a lack of consumer confidence, and Resident Bush in the White House, appointed by the United States Supreme Court, who wants to give tax cuts to the wealthiest among us and still believes in trickle down voodoo economics! And to make matters worse - he's got his old buddies jobs in this administration. See the article below "Iran Contra Players Return to Power."

May 23, 2003's Bulletin has a SPECIAL FEATURE: GRASSROOTS INTERVIEW WITH SENATOR BYRD.
Over one hundred MoveOn members posted their questions for Senator Robert Byrd (Democrat from West Virginia), and many more ranked those questions. This week, Senator Byrd responds to the top-ranked questions. Here's an excerpt:
"There is a power which can serve as a check against abuses by a government or by government officials and that power is the power of the informed citizen -- one who has read enough, who understands enough, who has developed a base of knowledge against which to judge truth or falsehood. Participation in the great debates of our time must not be relegated to the power elites in Washington. An informed citizenry has to participate, ask questions, and demand answers and accountability to make a country like ours work."

It's time Democrats join together and stand against the far right agenda of this administration. Don't let the Republicans make the name "Liberal" seem like a "four-letter word!" The term Liberal means "Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded." First, educate yourself as to what Republicans and this administration are all about and how they have divided, not united, this country.
And to see just what a Great President Bill Clinton was, he's still involved: Clinton Urges Students to Action.
Check out the links provided on this site, especially "2004 Election" to see the Democratic candidates, then - VOTE DEMOCRAT on November 2, 2004!
